I thought Lovie was a defense guy. Their defense sucks.

Just found out Illinois has 28 freshmen, redshirt freshmen playing.

They better grow up fast.

It's Illinois. Their previous head coaches were Tim Beckman, Ron Zook, Ron Turner & Lou Tepper, and they've had one real winning season since 2001. (On the plus side they made the Rose Bowl that year... On the minus side they were probably the worst B10 Rose Bowl team of this century.) Unless he's a fraud like Dungy at least Lovie shouldn't get the school sued for threatening injured players.

Narduzzi's defense is going to end up giving up 800+ yards to Oklahoma State.

I think Rutgers is pretty close to that number. Maybe a little less because of grad transfers, but close.

Michigan offense not very impressive. 22-13 over Air Force. 5 FGs.

Just saw a stat on UM. 1 TD in 10 red zone possesions this season. Ouch.

Rosen fails to deliver down the stretch and it looks like Memphis will beat UCLA.

He threw a pick with about 7 minutes left and had a chance to drive for the winning score. He failed both opportunities.

I noticed your disappearing act during the TAMU game.

In this game, he also rallied UCLA from being down to the go ahead score on 3 different drives as well. But that doesn't fit your bizarre narrative.

Like I said, never change

Rosen throws balls that should be picked when any pressure gets on him. If Howard didn't commit pass interference, he would have had a 3rd pick. He is not an NFL franchise QB. I agree that the defense blows and deserves plenty of blame for the loss.

College football needs to do away with time stopping after first downs. That will speed up the game a little bit on all offense type games w no defenses.

Im not one to complain about refs. BUT, these refs are terrible. 2 15 yard penalties get NT in position to score. One, our DE gets blocked into the QBs legs. The second, a late hit out of bounds when our guy barely touched the WR.

Our defense is horse crap right now. And our offense is not clicking.

But man, the refs are making this game almost unwatchable.

Two terrible INTs against a team that has no defense.

Jesus Christ you are one myopic poster. I'm guessing you opinion of Darnold is Sterling even though he's made more mistakes this year?

Pot. Kettle. Black.

Rosen's comeback against aTm included two TD passes that should have been picked off before that last pass that was sheer brilliance. He threw the ball around with no regard to avoiding INTs again today and threw away a win against another team with no defense. You blow smoke up his ass at an epic level. He's good, maybe very good if a good coach can get the bad habits out of him, but I see a lot of Kirk Cousins in him when there's pressure.

Pointing out that the defense gave up 48 to Memphis makes me myopic? I've never thought Rosen is perfect but to win games he needs to be perfect. He wasn't but if that's why you lost, it's not on Rosen. The offense had 6 TDs and over 600 yards of offense. Clearly we lost because of rosen

Would it be more believable if I mentioned that the same coach responsible for the secondary in Knoxville this year is also the guy in charge of their "special" teams?

What I don't understand is it looks like the CB who was covering him dropped off him for the guy running across midfield and left his safety out to dry. So what if the guy catches a pass at the 50.

Weird season so far by Michigan. They're in trouble in terms of another 10-win season if they don't find more consistency in the passing game. Tarcone's totally right about their offense. Also, it has to be said that both Cincinatti and Air Force looked at least as good if not better against them than Florida. Defense does look pretty effective, but right now an 8-4 record would be my best guess. Even 7-5 isn't out of the question.

Iowa lost there top 2 RBs and their 2 freshmen Rbs just gashed NT.

If we can figure out how to get our O line to play, our offense will be dynamic.
This is the best group of young skill position players Ive seen at Iowa EVER.

Too bad our defense sucks

That was a really quick confirmation of the USC TD. I thought the ball moved as he secured the ball right on the end line. What do I know? Or care really. This and the Vanderbilt game are the best ones on right now.

You might think this game was being played in Clemson with how the calls have gone. On the other hand, the Clemson defense is too much for Louisville.
