Ok.... so that was unexpected. There's no secret passageway to the room, the cloak wasn't found yet, and the only person I saw enter 118 was EagleFan. That's just not adding up.

Could someone have teleported? Or maybe privately entered the room the day before and stayed there? Or maybe EagleFan did stage it?

Just for clarity, I shared a room with Britrock D1-D3, not just D1. Also I was the one following him around, trying to make the buddy system work. By D4 I got tired of trying to figure out where he was and realized that since he had done nothing to encourage me to keep this up then maybe it was time to let the buddy system go.

I searched that room specifically thinking there might be a secret passageway down to 118 and instead found that rope. Seemed like a strange coincidence to me at first too that I found a rope in the room above where the attempted hanging happened, but if the attacker had the rope then why would they have used bedsheets?

So someone could have been hiding in the room waiting for someone to enter. Maybe EF was just the unlucky motel6 guest who entered that room. Anyone with private actions that day could be to blame (which is a large list).

Despite the existence of some dangerous stuff, and apparently the usefulness of bedsheets to murder with, we've only had 1 attack in 7 days. That confirms the idea that this is not a typical WW structure, not even the type where the bad guys have to find a way to kill. It may be more about making some alliances.

As for EF's story about the hanging, there were probably about a hundred requests for him to talk about what happened there, and his eventual response, "Oh, did I not say?" Or something to that effect. That's utter crap, and guaranteed he is hiding something.

One last thing. This is the Harry Potter universe. Of course teleportation exists.

Because revealing it reveals it to EVERYONE. I wasn't sure if it's a useful object or not (still not sure) and being the Harry Potter universe, a ring might not be just a ring. I didn't want to just go announcing it and have it turn out to be something the baddies want or need.
