I saw 14 people in the forum and got all excited until I realized it was 11 bots.
Abe, it is a compliment. I don't know what was spotted, but I just think it is a pretty big coincidence that the seer was killed on night one. Of course, if I was in your position, I wouldn't reveal my mystic abilities either.

Abe, my biggest ping from you was advocating the tie vote. I acknowledge that you might have just gotten your rules criscrossed from last game, but I also think you could have been floating it to see if the people in there before deadline didn't know the rules and possibly get a double whammy. I admit it's not the best theory I've ever had.

Simbo, Abe is a smart cookie with extra smart on it. I don't think he would be confused about rules altho he may do things for either strategic or silly reasons. |

I read (and am a big fan of) a lot of his stuff in the dynasty section, and of course got massacred in his Dungeon. That's why I felt like it was unusual for him not to know, he seems to be someone who is quite up with the rules. |

Alright, time for the voting. I'm not voting for myself, and I'm certainly not adding a fifth name to the pie. So, I shall be the first to cast a second vote on someone today, since it seems like everyone else is avoiding it. Silly WW players! I think boo's vote lacked a lot of credibility. vote booradley

I know booradley is a new player, but this kind of screams I am not a wolf look the other way type of post. That combined with his weird exchange with sucaine is where I am going to place my vote for now. It is not much to go on, I realize this. But I can't really justify any of the other candidates and I don't think we need a fifth one either. VOTE BOORADLEY

I had a thought, seeing as we're in D3 and don't have a real idea where we're going. What if we created a CoT by outing the BG and the hunter? It sounds crazy, I know. But if the BG's able to protect himself tonight, it'll take the wolves 3 days to kill off the 2 villagers. Given that a BG's chance of getting a block is 1/(number of players), keeping the wolves to 2/3 isn't a bad deal for the village. And it could give us some idea of who to go after (narrowing the field from 10 to 8 and illuminating the record of known villagers to perhaps point out wolves by their differences).

It could take 4 nights to kill them of, as a matter of fact, if the BG wins the silent face-off on who to protect between himself and the hunter, or if the wolves get themselves caught up in that chess match.

Not sure that's the best idea. We don't have anybody else to add to that CoT based on events at the moment.
No kill last night means a BG block or a hunter, right? Or i suppose a missed night order. So if those 2 out themselves then the wolves will know which role they attacked last night, and therefore if it was a BG block or a hunter-attack, and it will help them narrow down their choice of a night kill tonight and going forward. If the two don't reveal then the wolves won't know which they were the victim of, and thus it leaves them with some uncertainty about what they should do. Not sure how much of a help their being worried is, but it's better then them being sure. |

I thought about it earlier also -- but I think it's a day too soon yet. It could be pretty vital if the wolves know which is which and would confirm what they did last night and they'd be able to key on what was done last night and get a sure NK tonight. Then we also deal with the cultist likely fake revealing once one of them comes out...
Not today, for sure. |

Looks like there's at least one CF and boo voter in the thread. Any of you care to share a rationale with me? I don't have an inclination yet.

CF's response to boo tweaked my radar a little - he said something about new players acting a certain way until they were "drained" I think. It's not much, but it seemed like one of those things that CF should have known would get a response.

There was something the CF said early on in the game (day two, since I was gone for day one...lol) that seemed like a plant to me for future use to frame me as a wolf. Just pinged me. Gut feeling, no more, no less. |

That is a really bad idea, especially the hunter. The wolves have a pretty big advantage right now. If they get the hunter, it is going to be really tough for us to win. This kind of seems like a wolf play to me. The wolves have a big advantage right now and getting the hunter to come out would be huge for them.

In response to GE: a point I hadn't thought of is that when the wolves are finally able to kill off the hunter, they'll be doubly rewarded, as the hunter counts for 2 in the V:W ratio. So I'll back off that idea altogether.

Hmm... gut feelings... I trust mau, who seems more talkative than normal. I trust Abe, though I'm not sure exactly why. I was leery of GE, but by poking at my reveal idea, he seems more trustworthy.
mau and Abe's votes landed on DT yesterday while mau, DT, and CF were in that little dance I described earlier. But CF doesn't trust DT and mau. Meanwhile, GE voted for me. Conclusions? Hard to come by. But right now, I'm thinking mau and DT may be working together, GE is suspicious of me because I play in a way that draws suspicion from him, and CF, while not using as many emoticons as he sometimes does, strikes me as okay. Collaterally, I'll side with CF and GE and VOTE booradley |
