I don't have anything more against SB than I do any other player who happens to wear that jersey.

It's one of my pet peeves in life, not just sports. When the story is good enough on its own, why fuck it up with outlandish revisions?

Media definitely love a good story, even if much they have to make them up themselves. If he gets famous enough, then they will start tearing him down.

I haven't seen it in the media nearly as much as among the fan base, just to be honest. And it ain't limited to the sidewalk alums either (which is usually where the most irrationality occurs)

Is it too late to just cancel our season?

Kansas football coach Les Miles tests positive for COVID-19, plans to work remotely - CBSSports.com

Who here is buying anyone who says it's "just a cold" or "allergies" this year?

So this wacky season continues. Coastal who's already had its game with Louisiana rescheduled twice because of COVID outbreaks with other teams on their schedule, finally looked they were ready to play this week...and Hurricane Delta roared into town there. So game rescheduled for yet a third time.

Way to go, Mizzou! If they fire Bo, they can be the next team to overpay Todd Grantham. I think it is their turn.

Mid-way through 1Q and the Hogs defense are looking pretty good against Auburn. Unfortunately, like last week, our offense is pretty lethargic.

Oklahoma/Texas was a great game. The team I wanted to win did.

How bad is the Big 12 that Iowa St. is going to win it? HAHAHAHAHAHA

I've seen some shit.
I've seen some boneheaded shit.

And now there's George Pickens.

He sprayed water on the Tennessee QB after he was knocked out of bounds. Pickens wasn't even in the game at the time and cost his team 15 yards.

Auburn up 20-12 against the Hogs. But we scored 2 legit touchdowns (missed extra, and failed a go for 2) in pretty impressive drives. I've seen offensive improvement and am happy with that.

Hope we continue to do well in 2H.

Legendary football coach Hayden Fry just got some love from the announcers during the GA/TN game.

They talked about his offensive play calling, "What are you going to do coach?" Fry responds "Scratch where it itches/"

As you may know, he was Iowa's coach that brought us to where we are now, from a hell hole of 20 years of losing.

My all time favorite football coach.

Hah.

If he was a regular kid, it would be an example of parental abuse. But since he is 6'2" and 230lbs and plays for the Hogs, it's cool.

Oh yeah, a 3rd legit touchdown drive. 20-18 now, we missed another 2 pt conversion.

Still too early to believe our offense is for real (or is Auburn that bad) but starting to look like a promising season to build on.

Had another solid drive for a FG. It's 21-27 now.

I think it's because of FL QB transfer Feleipe Franks. He's making things happen and certainly the best QB we've had for a while.

Just recovered a fumble! Go Hogs. (Damn, got overriden)

Georgia's defense is just elite. I just don't see how they can beat Alabama with Bennet.

That's the kind of game where I'm inclined to feel bad for them instead of about them

2015: 1x (to ole miss)
2016: 1x (to ole miss)
2017: 0
2018: 1x (only to Clemson)

Bama will end up winning, but they gave up 650+ yards in the game. Wow.

Yeah The Who.e NCAA and somewhat the NFL has become arena league football during Covid. This year’s stats should just be thrown in the trash.

Kinda lost amidst the insanity elsewhere, Kentucky beats Mississippi State 24-2.
I guess maybe that Leach offense doesn't work in the SEC after all.

I'm ready for Bama to fall to middling. I'm tired of seeing them always as 1 or 2 in the SEC. Willing to root for GA but they seem to always choke when it matters.

Looks like a SEC-ACC struggle for domination this year.

#1, #2, #3 aren't surprises and valid at this time. I'm not convinced on Notre Dame or UNC just yet though.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Georgia
4. Notre Dame
5. UNC
6. OSU (no games yet)

The fact that FSU was about 5 yards from making that a 10 point game with about 8 minutes to go tells me ND is anything but legit.
