Worst seat of power...(Westeros only, we're not talking "the Dothraki sea" or anything) - Iron Islands?
Worst Lord Commander - one of the Kettleblacks? Worst Field General - that's a toughie. Maybe Mace Tyrell? |

I also think there's a good argument for Jaime being the worst Lord Commander. I mean, he did kill one of his kings and essentially aided Tyrion in killing Tywin.

I wish I'd been able to have 2 servants...my second choice (that I grappled with making my first choice, to the point of writing out the pick and second guessing before pressing submit) was MAG THE MIGHTY.

Really, of the four Kings Jaime has been in the Kingsguard for, three of them met violent ends, one of them by Jaime's own hand.
He's got a pretty bad track record. Last edited by Coffee Warlord : 10-17-2014 at 08:49 AM. |

I'm using only major characters.
King: Joffrey Queen: Lysa Arryn Heir: Robert Arryn Kingsguard: Jaime Lannister Hand: Robb Stark General: Edmure Tully Master of Whispers: Ned Stark Servant: Theon Greyjoy I take Lysa as worse than Cersei, only because she's just as unstable, with none of the even rudimentary ability at lying, cheating, and plotting that Cersei has. Actually, I've got one better than Edmure Tully for General. Janos Slynt. Last edited by Coffee Warlord : 10-17-2014 at 08:56 AM. |

Why Robb? Not that I think he would be good, but just wondering your thoughts.
I can go with you on Lysa, and I see the argument on Jaime but I imagine there's a worse candidate, but I'm not sure who. Someone who would never stick their neck out, and is not a good fighter, for instance. Ned as Master of Whispers is hilarious. |

Balon Swann or Meryn Trant, perhaps?

Major character with pretty much zero political acumen. At least Ned has a reputation that would garner some respect as Hand (though I think he is ill suited for the role as well). Robb doesn't have the street cred to be taken all that seriously as Hand, and zero political experience.

And to add to the court. Robert Baratheon as Master of Coin.

I don't agree with Jaime as worst for the Kingsguard, and not just because I picked him. If anything I think he should get bonus points for breaking his oath to kill the Mad King, and I think we all think highly of Barristan and he was present for most of this as well, Joffrey aside.
