netherlands could/should be down 2 players allready, that Van Bommel foul 4,5 years gets him a sure red card (for some reason they went away from the "tackling from the back = red" rule) and that kung fu kick now ...

This game is a shining example of why soccer won't be taking off anytime soon in the US. Very few solid moments broken up by flopping.
The one play where someone actually tried to make something happen instead of fopping ends up getting screwed by no call being made. Based on that I can understand the flopping a bit more but have FAR more respect for the player who tried to play through instead of acting like he was shot. |
