I have thoroughly enjoyed my time interacting with these feeble heroes. It greatly satisfied my lust for the destruction of all things good. Dola, i really enjoyed my vist with gambit last night. He wasnt very cordial, and didnt welcome me like a guest, but i made sure his death was slow and painful to make up for it. In the end, i felt quite happy about my night. And really, thats all that counts

Upon a little reflection, I think attacking Moon Knight is a mistake. He knew his shield or whatever would protect him and Apocalypse and the other horseman are safe. That's why he goaded us into attacking him. I think that there is endgame.

The forces of Apocalypse are more brazen with their attacks today than they have ever been. It comes down to an old-fashioned shooting match with Moon Knight and Captain Britain being the targets, and the results are not all that close.

Silver Surfer, using his super speed to bedevil his foes, unleashes a mighty blast into Captain Britain that shatters his force field and strips most of his skin from his body. Moon Knight and Mandarin (who is abnormally large?) drop a coordinated attack on the Brit, leaving him extremely dead.

Meanwhile, Daredevil's aggressive attack is halted in mid-air just inches from Moon Knight. SpiderMan encases Moon Knight in webbing and Hulk unleashes his might on a stationary target. Moon Knight is not able to effectively resist, as he is battered into submission. But at the end of the day, he still lives.

Night 8 has begun.

However, the corpse of Captain Britain does not shimmer away as the others of the Twelve have before him. Instead, there is a blinding flash of light, and a new participant has entered. It is ... Captain Britain!

"You have divorced me from my previous form, but Captain Britain will rise again to defend the innocent and punish evil!" His form is different, but he seems invigorated and ready to carry on the battle. Could this be the turning point for the forces of good?
