I can sell you a ring that makes natural creatures not attack you. That may give you a little more time before you absolutely need that suit of armor.

I'll consider that dubb. We're staying put for today and searching the island so I don't think I'll need to do it before movement deadline today necessarily.

It's worth whatever normal studded leather is worth. Not really interested in a spear.

who let their asses have a monopoly on dungeon trading anyways? if we had some competition maybe they'd have to pay 75%!

i dunno if they're competing. one is paying 25% of worth, one is paying 50% and the other is paying ?%. Doesn't sound like they're in real intense capitalistic-competition. Sounds like they're geographically isolated and non-competitive.

The other problem with the sis'harr post is that if you aren't a sis'harr you take a 10% health loss everytime you do an action there.

It's in a desert and it's very hot, hence the health loss for taking action. But us lizards are immune.

I can only use blunt weps, of which I've only seen one for sell the entire game and the asking price was higher than what I was able to offer.
I'm counting on you to correct this Poli. |

Poli, I do agree with Danny, that it is dangerous. Decide if you want to go backwards into the room we've already been in OR go left into the lighter (first level) bricks. I am worried about both our survival so maybe going backwards and exploring the other way isn't such a bad idea. Send directions to Abe if you don't mind.

A gentle breeze stirs through the room of clouds. JAG surveys his surroundings. The impressive Celestial Harp (minus a string) gives off a soft golden glow. To his right, a corridor winds on, lined with raw umber bricks. Danger lurks down that path, but nothing that the cleric isn't capable of handling. That must be the direction of travel.
Or must it? With a slow look to the left, JAG has to suppress a shudder at the sight of the hallway lined with bricks as dark as midnight. A passage leading to certain death. Yet when had this hellish dungeon ever promised anything else? The question was, could salvation also be down that way? The spirits have provided him with a valuable gift, giving a chance to succeed when it wouldn't have even been a consideration without. Dare he risk it? Dare he NOT risk it? JAG straightens his plate suit and ensures everything is in its place. He tests the balance on his magical flail. He had little doubt he would soon have need of it for the first time. With a twist, he makes sure the Ring of Memory still adorns his finger and will not come loose in combat. Now is the time, he thinks, as he pulls out the oil of absorption and carefully spreads a thin layer over his entire body, fully using the contents. He drops to his knees and says a brief prayer to a nameless deity. With only a brief final glance to the right, he forces his mounting dread back and heads left, into the blackness, into the unknown horrors that await... Whether or not I'm dead in a few hours, it's been fun everyone. |
