While we wait for the write up, hope nobody minds if I ask a WW question. Do people tend to prefer the 24 hour cycle where it is one deadline each day or the 12 hour cycles where there is a morning and a night? I'm on the list to GM and this is a component I hadn't considered. Sorry if this is the wrong place/time to ask.

Again, if I die, I'm hoping you're going to be next, hoops. That vote was seriously wrong.

I think people's schedules like the 24 hours, but I think it places the people with night actions, the wolves in particular, at a disadvantage.

If you feel the need to vote off a fellow god on Day One, well, at least I'm no seer. Someone's gotta go. I hold no grudges if its me. I'd prefer it not to be me, but you won;t see me all red in the face.

Heh.. this post is really kinda funny now.

I didn't juice the vote on you - just spent one point. So if you end up dead as a good guy I'll be looking very hard at the others on you to understand why they dropped the hammer.

That is about as far as I'm willing to think ahead on this. I would rather wait to see results before spending too much time thinking about next steps.

Yep, earlier I looked at the second statement without factoring in the one before it. So I was thinking he was going to reveal as a very non-warlike role if pushed to do so.

Neon, I'll be honest upfront. I moved from 1 point to 3 points after Hoops switched. As I've said in previous games, I tend to trust his instincts and on day one, between the reveal and then his late move, I decided to risk it. I still didn't go five on you but that is full disclosure on my part.

I had originally read his post to be that he was the god of harmony or whatever the role was because he said he was not warlike and wouldn't be red in the face.

A very spirited day 1 for a change, lots of votes on lots of people. i just hope whomever we killed is a titan to give us the advantage going into day 2.

And pray to the gods, the titans and everyone else around that we didn't off the seer this time....

So doesn't that just give MORE weight to the idea that he's bs'ing us? That he was going to set himself up to reveal as God X later on but when the heat turned up he decided it would be more useful to reveal as Ares today?

I doubt it. If everyone else went one point, you're safe but I will take the blame from everyone else if it is you and it goes badly. That doesn't help you, I understand, but at least you know my reasoning and have a realistic idea of what could happen.

Ditto, Purdue.

So, if you were a Titan today - would you have taken out the God of War with your night actions, knowing that you were going to move down the ratio for winning conditions? Or go in another direction to try and take out one of Big 3, seer, whatever?

- There is risk of hitting someone that doesn't help the ratio if they don't go after Ares.
- There is a risk of running into the BG on Ares, probably more than other characters.
-There is a chance that you ruin the seer scan by taking out the target that is being scanned.

Since actions are in, I don't see any harm in discussing this while we wait for results.

Geez can't a guy just read along without getting noticed? Got Alan's PM to the former players of his game today, so thought I'd check it out. Think about playing again from time to time, but don't like how I get all caught up in them, and the arguments/grudges that follow from game to game. Plus I was never the chatty type, I like to sit back and observe rather than analyze the ruleset for strategies for the village. Which often got me in trouble.

Hoops, if I were bad, I would go outside the God of War and try to take out somebody else, hoping to hit on the seer, a convert, body guard, or one of the big three. I guess Ares could have a role/power but I would keep the known entity and try to hit a jackpot on night one.

Its possible BK, but I'm willing to do some digging around on day 2 before going off on anxiety. My gut says he's on the level about the role, wether its a role allied with good or bad, that I don't know.

Actually that was me tellingyou I WAS Ares early.

I didn't want to make it too obvious, but iset it apart from the parpgraph so it would stand out. I hoped people would ctach that and move away without me needing to fully reveal.

As the day ends alot more spirited than it began, the council of Olympus gathers together to determine whom among you might not belong there. Many of you secretly feel that Titans bearing disguises as Olympians might be in your midst. Finally after the sun had set, Uranus loomed over the heavens and points at Path12 with determination.

Uranus booms,"My son, I had given you much and you repay me with your treachery. The Olympians had chosen well this day, for you have no place in this council. Calling upon the heavens themselves, you all watched stunned as Path is torn apart by the very air around you. As he is ripped away from the fabric of this planet, you find him changing into his true form.. Path12 was Cronus a Titan!

As everyone is stunned by the latest revelation, none even notice other happenings among the council. As you all turn to look, you find Passacaglia laying there dead on the floor. He has turned into his true form upon dead. Passacaglia was Athena, an Olympian!

As you continue to look around the room you notice that all else is not well here. Standing before you is a solid stone statue in the form that looks just like Neon Chaos. He appears to be alive, but just a bit more hardheaded than previous.

Also as you look around, Hoopsguy is no where to be found. He appears to have snuck off when no one was looking.

Day 2 has started. Deadline for Day 2 is 10:00pm EST Tuesday night
