To clarify, I never really felt "good" about my vote for clap, but at the time CR's explanation behind his vote seemed legitimate and any other vote I would've cast would've been grasping for straws. And I couldn't get back to the thread until now, otherwise I might've seriously considered switching to SY, if only for him saying he was at the ruins as that is definitely an easy way to blend in when none of us saw each other.
Hopefully the late switching nailed someone bad. |

I'd say hoops should only be under suspicion for that late vote if clap turns up bad at some point. I'm going off the assumption that clap was saved by these late switches, which I think is what the vote count turned out.

Trying to find where some concentric circles might be and the only thing I can come up with is that hoops and Taz (who were both shopping...along with oliegirl) were both on near the end. While hoops changed his vote, Taz unvoted me and didn't vote for anyone. Is there collusion? Possibly, but this is still pretty weak evidence. |

The amount of wrinkles in this game is threatening, it's going to make early vote history tough to use if some of the wolves aren't even wolves at this point (which I really believe to be the truth).

nfg has that necklace on - has there ever been an item that prevented voting? Cronin had suspicion and votes on him - could the drugs have kept him quiet? FWIW, Taz voted and unvoted, but you're right he didn't leave a vote. KWhit was around for some discussion - interesting non-vote. Is that the complete list of non-voters? |

From what I can tell, that's the complete list of non-voters with the exception of path, who we believe is out of the game.

I looked this up from the first posts of the thread:
The tiebreaker for votes is unannounced to start in this game, as is the determination for what is required to "win a vote" The only thing I will state in the rules is that getting votes for yourself is not in your best interests. All votes must occur during the appropriate gameplay turn or they are void and do not count. For scheduling issues where you simply can not be available during that gameplay turn, please PM me and we can work out some form of conditional vote that can be made. |

The captain walks up to the gates, preparing to allow everyone to unboard the ship for the day. Before he unlocks the gates, he speaks over the intercom system so all can hear...
Thank you to those whom came to me and presented some concerns about your fellow passengers. I realize that many of you brought forth some valid points, however at this time there was no passenger that received enough of an arguement for me to be swayed today. I will not be kicking anyone off of the ship. Enjoy Cozumel today, as we will leave after today for our next destination! Voting phase 1 has ended. All of you should have received PMs. If anyone did not receive a Pm, please let me know. Any PMs that require an event response must be in by 10pm EST tonight. |

Well, I went to the beach. There were other people there, but nobody was mentioned by name. I have no actions that require an event.

Interesting.
Well, in the spirit of being honest, I went snorkeling today. Saw a lot of people I didn't recognize (locals, other tourists, I assume), but I also saw Clap and Pass. Nothing eventful happened, and I wasn't given any choices. Just a nice, relaxing swim. Similar for you two? I realize there were some concerns about revealing names of people at your location but it seemes that there was an overall movement towards that yesterday so as to try and nail someone who might be lying. |

I went to the ruins, which were evidently very popular still (which is strange, I went there IRL and it was near empty).
Nothing to report |

Well, quite a night. I fell asleep at the beach and by the time I woke up and made my way back to the ship it was locked for the night. I spent the night on a park bench, and other than getting stinky nothing else happened.
I'm back on the ship since I wasn't able to choose an excursion for the day. Just as well, I don't want to be left behind again.......now, a shower and heading to the nearest bar, I need a drink. Badly.

Welcome back path!
On a side note, Alan: I assume because there are no prices associated with the excursions that they're free, correct? So I still have $500? |

So my thought is we need 50%+1 to lynch anyone. Thoughts?

Couple of thoughts:
1.) I'm pretty sure I didn't tie the vote, as several people have speculated. Although I'm not afraid of tying up a vote, and would have been willing to do so this time, the numbers look like 8-6 to me with me avoiding a tie with my vote. Am I missing something? 2.) Busy day at work + unfamiliar cycles for me (3PM + 10PM deadlines) mean that I didn't submit an action today. So I'm cupping the bishop on the boat instead of getting out and looking at anything. Time will tell if that has any kind of impact, but I'll put it out there so people can use it as a data point later in the game. BK - why 50%+1 instead of 50%? Otherwise, I think that guess is as good as any. |

It might also be that a tie could be a no lynch at times or a lynch at others depending on the circumstances.
Since we likely won't find out what those circumstance might be though it doesn't seem to be in our best interest to tie a vote up again.

Its in the rules that everyone started with $500. I originally had it set to $100, but changed it to $500 because of some possible events at places in this game. Some of my events might not have been appropriately changed though, and in cases where I caught, I hand edited them. If anyone had any PM stating they started with $100 instead of $500, that PM is a mistake, and your running total should still be as if you started with $500. |
