My turn to wisecrack on the voluminous thread count.
This is what happens when you kill off hoops and Chief so soon.

Just got off from work. Today was cleaning and livestock day, and I reek of shit, piss and ferret musk. Also got bit on the chin by a corn snake. Yay.
Anyway, just checking in before I go shower.

So with six of us left Schmidty is off the table today and obviously I'm not self voting. That leaves Bug, Jackal, PB and NTN.
Going back over things PB suggested early about getting the Duke out of the game. I am wondering if it is because he knew DT was the duke and that was on his mind? Throws Hoops' name in the ring early D1 as his unofficial vote. What works in his favor is he casts a third vote for Autumn, putting him ahead, but I wonder if it had already been decided at that point Autumn was going down and PB wanted to look good, however, I think that vote is enough to keep me off PB today. NTN throws out the idea that the duke could be a wolf early D1 then is usualy quiet. Jackal does a hit and run D1 and we leterally hear nothing from him the rest of the game. Bug has made a few comments that stand out to me, such as asking about two cleared villagers, but this is what really stands out to me This is the kind of thing DT says as a wolf with Bug being a wolf as well, in my experiences with him. Sounds reasonable to me. I've also seen DT do that before, for sure.

Sorry for not being around, an absolutely crazy day with kid being sick and some other issues. I read everything that changed since last night so I'll throw a vote in for what I've seen happen thus far.
Lathum's quotation from DT is solid but I've always been bothered by how that first night went down w/o Bug putting in a vote for anybody despite being prompted by several of us. vote Bug I'll try to check in again but I've got a softball triple-header tonight (damn make-ups). |

Didn't realize I was going to be the fourth in a run there and in a six person game that concerns me. I'll leave it and try to check back.

I hope y'all are right. My only reason for not considering Bug in the first place is Lathums early trust. I will grant that the DT quote sounds damning but Iam planning to stay on Jackal

Well, I was the seer last night and scanned PB, mostly because he was semi-trusted for no real reason except a well placed vote, hard to argue with that in endgame.
And he's a wolf! VOTE PURDUEBRAD |

With 5 left Jackal only makes yhis move if there are two wolves left, and if that is the case we are pretty screwed anyway. Plus I would have 100% gone gunning for PB today after talking myself out of it yesterday.

Great game village. I'll take the blame for this one, I pushed for the "off Autumn" strategy and that did not work out even one bit. My bad.

We got lucky. I was so tuned in to PB yesterday and talked myself out of it, which is so rare for me. Usually when I hone in on someone I am like a pitbull.
Good job all, and this is a big middle finger to PB for trying to kill me last night !!! I can't remember the last WW game I made it to the end as a villager. |

And changing your night 1 kill from Chief Rum to Hoops right before deadline was a killer. If you kill of CR and the Seer there, I think DT and PB end up with the victory.

I agree, that with the seer out at that point we would have been in very good shape. Though it seems maybe killing off a wolf didn't garner the level of trust I imagined it would.
I was also considering killing one of ourselves off if we got the seer role at some point. I guess I'm getting too tricky for my own good. |

Sorry Bug, hopefully you at least learned that indecision on D1 will almost always come back to bite you in the ass, especially in a close vote.
In a game of partial info stuff like that is incentive enough to get someone killed, which is what happened to you and CF this game. |

Glad to see the village pull this one out. Bad luck for Autumn that I targeted him early on for very little reason and that people actually followed onto the vote.
If there had not been any meaningful pressure on him I bet that I would have eventually moved the vote. But people always seem to follow my votes ... usually leads to me having to explain why I led to a villager getting lynched. Glad there was a different outcome this time. |

Have to credit the plan to flush out the duke too. It could have gone squirrely for the village, but with an actual wolf duke it worked perfectly to their advantage.

I understand the hesitation, but I don't think I could have asked for a better sequence of events to actually be cleared. Target a wolf and don't pick an unofficial vote (which would have saved a wolf) and then voting along so soon on DT |

I'm glad you liked it. It's a shame the wolves never got a hold of the ability to see what they might have done with it.
