I don't know how I could be anyone other that Cage, though. No one else layed claim to it, and that's the last "villager" title that was listed that went unclaimed.

I really would have enjoyed the "battle" of ntn or telle claiming to be Cage. That would have been interesting.

J23's vote timing stuck out to me more than EF's. I didn't love EF's attempts to twist my D1 but I was worried that I was making that too personal so I tried to be more objective. I suspected J23 and ntn more than EF when I made the duking change.

I was hoping you were just playing coy with the ntn thing and would eventually switch to telle. That was my goal if I couldn't swing the EF vote.

Personally, I'm hoping that the brutal isn't in the game since there were so many roles that really were not in the game for the village...but I find it unlikely.

But man, letting EF nail the door shut on ntn, I wish I had been around to try and stop that.

EF's comment about "laying everything out on the table" makes me think that he's a wolf and ntn wasn't OR he's a wolf and ntn was the brutal. Either way, guh.

I am still pulling for this game to continue, so we'll see. I hope all is okay with Darth, in all seriousness.

It's turned into personal amusement now, no matter what the result finally ends up being. Hopefully we pull off a villager win.

I can hear DV in the background telling Eaglefan "Finish him!" already.

This is it, the last chance for Earthrealm to take down an Outworlder before all hope is lost. You walk out into the arena cautious and watchful, there can not be any mistakes again. Poli and PB are the first to begin the fray, followed by Telle, NTN and then EF. Ef is slammed to the ground by Poli but then Poli is roundkicked by PB. The familair cry of "GET OVER HERE!!" is heard again, but this time it fails. The free for all isn't working for anyone, you are forced to choose sides again. EF and NTN are pinned back to back trying to defend themselves to no avail. Ef then decides to join his adversaries and begins to attack NTN. PB, Telle, and Poli all restrain him while EF grabs him from behind and breaks his neck. He then falls to the ground dead. "Finally" PB mutters, we have found one. But as you look a bit closer you recognize the insignia on NTN's beret. You are horrified to discover that you have killed Jax!

NTN was Jax, a vanilla warrior.

PB and Poli turn to look at each other, their fearful expressions mirroring one another. They then turn to EF and Telle, their faces showing identical expressions of wicked glee. They then descend on the last two combatants beginning the final battle. It appears that Scorpion and Johnny Cage are no match for the combined might of Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung however.

As EF stands with his foot on Poli's neck and Telle has PBat the tip of her sword the Elder Gods cry out "FINISH THEM!!!!"

Outworld has won Mortal Kombat! With their victory they have earned the right for Shao Kahn's army to invade Earhrealm. The remaining warriors provide little resistance and are easily disposed of.

Earthrealm has fallen.

Yes, EF was the brutal. So if we had lynched him instead then we would have won with the night kill. And that was the plan.. but when we saw the chance to take out ntn instead and go for the shut-out, we just couldn't pass it up.

I don't understand your tactic as duke here PB. You tried to get people to lynch you so you could duke it to them, but how is it any more likely to hit a wolf than a villager when the village has no real information? Why not play a normal game and then save your duke until you have something damning on someone and duke it to them? When your attitude was oh well, go ahead and lynch me, I assumed you might be the brutal, and was ok in "taking one for the team" so to speak, especially when we had already lost so many roled villagers. I didn't even consider you playing the duke like that.

I still don't know how I managed to convince PB that I was likely a villager. And when I realized that I had inadvertently picked the name of a "baddie" when I googled for a Mortal Kombat name, and ntn looked it up, I thought I was done for.. but nobody else paid any attention to that.
