And actually I am changing my vote. He masked us with his facts and bent them to make us think he was a noncheater.

Actually, I'm not a cheater, either with my chili or anyone else's. I also actually didn't hide any conclusions I made from the patterns I was seeing, and would have advocated the BG move even if I wasn't Nosy (a circle of trust of three with seven people left is very powerful). That said, I am of course Nosy.

Final vote totals:
bsak16 3 -- ntndeacon(1), MollyMurphy(3), Chief Rum(4) Chief Rum 1 -- bsak16(5) Not voted: Barkeep49 Mouth of Hell Chili Yield: 6 servings 1 large onion, chopped 2 tablespoons peanut oil 2 pounds rough ground beef brisket 2 cups stewed tomatoes 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce 1 teaspoon molasses 1 tablespoon ground cumin 2 teaspoons paprika 1 cup (12 ounces) beer 3 cloves garlic crushed 5 tablespoons HOT chili powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons cayenne flakes 2 tablespoons Masa Harina 1 ounce 150-proof tequila Saute the onion and garlic in the oil. Add the meat and saute meat is browned. Add all remaining ingredients except the tequila and cook for 1 hour 15 minutes. Pour the tequila over the top of the chili in the bowl when serving. ------------------------------------------------------- Don Wiltee loved three things: dentistry, his wife Ramona and chili. Some friends joked that chili might have come before all the rest. He won the national championship back in 1996 and 1999, and had been looking for just the right recipe to get himself back into the winners circle. He thought he had found it with what he called Mouth of Hell chili. He had thought the judges were crazy when they had disqualified Earline Riser, and so he was apprehensive as he saw them approach his station. He got the bad news, and was heard to mutter “hope all your teeth abcess” as he packed up his things in his 1998 black Mustang with the inevitable license plate CHILIDOC. Bsak16, regular competitor, has been eliminated.

Actually, wait a minute!
Now that Doc Wiltee had been eliminated, Ramona Wiltee and Deacon Blue were overjoyed -- the plan had worked and they were named co-champions, with that nosy George Green getting the third place prize. The cheaters have won!

Sorry, messed that up a little at the end. Congratulations to ntndeacon and MollyMurphy, as well as Chief Rum as the nosy competitor. Well played! Losing the seer so early is really tough in a small game like this.
Hope everyone enjoyed the game as much as I did running it!

My apologies for not voting today. I was unexpectedly out the whole day. You can count on one hand the number of times I've missed a vote. Sincerest apologies, though I'd likely have ended up on Chief Rum, though I certainly had the three bad guys nailed by the end after the mischievous affair with last night's vote.

I don't understand the votes for CR. It was clear after yesterday's votes who the wolves were. It doesn't matter anyway. After I was killed, there were three baddies alive vs. two goodies. The only way the good guys could have won was if the baddies royally screwed the pooch. |

I already told path via PM that I enjoyed this game, but I'll do it again here. This was a fun, well balanced game. We faced an uphill battle losing the seer on the first night, but we lucked out when I blocked the wolves two nights in a row. In the end it came down to who do you believe more, and unfortunately, I always seem to lose those arguments.

It was a lot of fun from my vantage point to watch JE and ntn duel. JE had guarded ntn to block him from attacking night two and then guarded himself night three when ntn came after him. He had a 50/50 shot of who to guard last night to try and block, picked ntn and Molly did the spiking.

Thanks for a well designed and run small game, path.
I thought JE and bsak both did very well in the game, and kept the good guys in it much longer than normal. Bsak in his first game, I believe, never lost his faith in my evilness, no matter how much help I was handing out. Also, terrific move by the wolves yesterday to move to SnDvls and capitalize on my early vote (although that was not what I intended--I had to vote early simple because I had to leave for work). In fact, a good debut for both new players, bsak and MollyMurphy. Good going, rooks!

Thanks path for setting this game up. It was a fun experience in my first werewolf game.
Chief the only way I had any hints that you were evil was because we have chatted before on here and in the RWBL. So I could read you a little bit. But the rest I had no clue and probably still dont To be honest the first two days I really had no idea what was going on. I didn't know what to look for. Everytime I thought I had someone pegged as the Werewolf something someone else said would raise a red flag for them. Honestly I thought Barkeep and CR were the wolves. Barkeep because he was relatiively quiet and CR because I figured he was trying to make himself too useful for us to lose. Looks like I was wrong on both counts. Again it was a lot of fun and I hope to do another one of these in the future. Thanks to everyone for making this fun! |
