At this point, I'm not even sure why the Saints are running the ball anymore. It's clear that the Vikings secondary is gassed.. I think that's a catch.

Looks like his hand is under it. Not enough to overturn it. I wouldn't kick the FG yet though. Get inside the 10 at least.

Note that favre ended his career with the Pack with a pick. he ended it with the Jets with a pick. What about with the Wikes?

It's not going to be enough to overturn it. Football gods are smiling on the Saints today.

I wouldn't play to kick it at all. Stay conservative, but go for the TD.

There are live betting opportunities (at WSEX) on whether the Saints can cover the -3.5 spread, which are just flying all over the place. Money to be made.

I don't like the head ref's language on the reviews. "After reviewing the play, the call on the field will stand". The language is way too soft. He's got to make it sound definitive and not just like they are unwilling to overturn a call.

This is really why I wanted the Saints to win. I grew up and lived near so many Saints fans, and I'm happy for them. Never was much of a Saints fan myself, but I can't help but be pleased right now.

Sorry, I was pretty busy typing in transactions. When the game was clearly going to OT, Saints were selling at about 13, which was just absurdly low. I sold off when they got to about 19 and then to 22. I got in and out for a couple more swings of no net effect, and then hedged off about a third of my gains at the end just in case the kick missed. Did okay.

This is kind of funny. Just tried to use my cell phone to call a friend and I guess the cell towers are so deluged with calls that service is temporarily down.

I'm a huge Colts fan, obviously, but I'm glad the Saints made it. I like watching them play and it's hard to cheer against Brees. I will in 2 weeks, but I'm glad they made it.

In the end, the two best teams for most of the season made it to the Super Bowl. Seems just.

I'm not sure what it is. I guess any team that really gets a huge push from their home field (and they do, that's a big tip of the cap to their fans), plays such a crappy game today, stinks it up towards the end of the regular season.

I guess it's just jealousy from an Eagles fan. What can I say?

I feel numb. Feel like we survived more than we really took it away tonight on the field, but that still counts for something! But still, very happy, and never would think I would see this day.
