I think Bradford has had a raw deal for a lot of his career, a similar situation to what happened to Alex Smith. He had different coaches for his first several seasons and very little talent around him, yet he still has produced decently when healthy. I feel the same about Locker except Locker had a bit more talent around him IMO. Both guys have shown promise but just can't seem to stay on the field.

I have to keep reminding myself that they've been pretty awful for the last few years, because I'm with you in the thinking they draft well boat.

I don't agree that Bradford has produced well. I think he's one of those guys who makes his receivers look bad.

Dallas has to go defense here. Manziel would be a luxury pick they can't afford. They need a safety.

Lets also not forget the Rams are in an absolute hell as far as divisions go. They'd probably be favorites to win the NFC East, AFC South or AFC North.

Is this a weak year for running backs or do NFL GMs just not value them like they used to? (or both?)

If he falls past Dallas, I don't see anyone left in the 1st round that drafts Manziel unless someone trades back up.

The Rams were completely devoid of good young talent, outside of SJax, when Bradford was drafted. The receivers that were let go from the team after he arrived have not done anything of note elsewhere. He made Amendola look better than he is.

Also, one of the issues they have is an inept offensive coordinator, which does not help things. Bradford should get one more year, if he doesn't get it done, you move on.

I wanted Martin. But I can see value for the Cowboys with a QB that has a bad back.

I'm sure the Steelers stud defense will generate enough pressure to keep their shitty defensive backs from being exposed.

RBs have lower value due to dominance of passing game, shorter careers, and ease of finding serviceable guys cheap.

I don't see why everyone thinks Manziel is so good. I watched games and saw a guy chucking up lots of jump balls and crappy throws across the middle. I think there may be 5+ QBs that might be better.

This is the optimistic look. I can't say you're wrong. I think a quarterback worthy of the number-one pick has to almost force a team to pass more effectively. The numbers really are terrible for Bradford.

The Patriots had both him and Bridgewater in for visits. It depends on who else is left, but not out of the realm of possibility.

I think if the Pats go QB, then that means they have a deal in place for Mallett.
