I'm kicking Chief Rum out of the game due to inactivity. So we'll need two replacement players now. Given that, it's going to be hard to keep going until we get at least one of them, so post if you're interested.

It's a surprisingly quiet night, though one gripped in fear as many are guarding themselves as best they can. In the morning, only one body is found, ntndeacon is found with his throat cut in his bed.
We really need those replacement players to keep playing much longer right now, so feel free to volunteer if you're interested. Well.. It looks like the downstairs crew retaliated last night.. So I am still unsure which side Render is on, but my guess is that Ntn and Gonzo were on different sides, and Gonzo and Render were on different sides..
So if I had to guess, the upstairs are down two people and downstairs has only lost Telle. Of course this is based on voting which might be misleading yesterday since it seemed early on that Render might be a goner.. Either way one of the teams (either downstairs or upstairs) is probably pretty close to winning, they just need 2 more kills I think. |

In the interest of getting information out there for discussion I had to use both phases for sleep last night si=o I got nothing.
I am also intriguied as to why there was 1 kill last night. I am wondering if there was a move made on PurdueBrad that failed. |

Welcome to the game Passacaglia! I'll let you have some time to get caught up on the thread, but right now i have you down as a likely non-guest (good guy). Hopefully for your sake you are on the upstairs/downstairs team that is only missing one person, if so your team looks like its winning right now!

Hey guys, my internet has been kind of screwy. I thought it was this site but for some reason, all forums last night were slllllllllllllloooooooooowwwwwww loading. Anyway, I was attacked last night but: You fended off the attack but were unable to identify your attacker. So I guess I'm not much use there. Sounds like the game might be in a bit of a pause for the weekend but I should be on and off between football and finishing up grades for progress reports. |

Looking back, did anybody do a search last night? If somebody was seen out roaming, that could finger either my attacker or the person that killed NTN.

I really wish people would stop being so cryptic with their counters and just come out with it already.

I agree. When people are cryptic it makes it less believable as if they are trying to work up a story. I can understand in some games where there might be a reason for precaution, but in this game almost everything is out in the open already and I just don't see the reason for waiting. |

Well, I'm not sure when the day deadline is going to be if its tonight or not. I'll try to check in later today when I get a chance just in case.
Right now, out of the list of people I would consider voting for: Gonzo PurdueBrad Passacaglia MrBug708 St. Cronin Saldana? (if he is replacing Chief Rum) I'll give Chief Rum's replacement (saldana?) and Passacaglia a pass for today since they just joined and it would suck reading the entire thread only to be instantly lynched. I'm not going to vote for PurdueBrad just yet in hopes that he stops playing games and either announces his counter reveal claim instead of going to death with it. Cronin supposedly said he would have something to say today (or this weekend at least), so I'll wait to see what earthshattering announcement that will be. So I'm leaning towards voting for either Gonzo or mrBug today. One additional reason I like those two as my narrowed down choices is based on my vote chart I feel very high liklihood that Mrbug is on the upstairs team while Gonzo is on the downstairs team, so I would be very interested in seeing who votes for which of them. Anyways, I'll be back later. |

Saldana is in in the place of Chief Rum. I'm fine with continuing the day as normal and having an 8 pm deadline. If people have problems with that we could move it back to midnight or something.

I know for a fact that AlanT and DT were not attacked last night, and I know I slept peacefully.
I hate to say it but I'm kind of suspicious of the Chief Rum/Saldana character at this point. I know CR isn't here to defend himself, but as active as he was in the last game, it's odd that he's just disappeared. But acknowledging that Saldana just started the game, I'm willing to give him a night to prove himself as a good guy. I'm not sure where I stand on DT and AlanT...as vocal as they were yesterday, I'm kind of surprised that neither of them were attacked. But I'm holding off on any decision on either of them right now...I think I trust them more than I don't at this point. I'm comfortable with cronin or PB at this point. PB is definitely on my suspect list - especially after he played the last game. And cronin has been promising to give information out but as of yet, we have nothing. I'm heading out again in a few minutes; will be back in an hour or two and will check in at that point, hopefully ready to vote. I'm fine with an 8 pm deadline tonight...would prefer it so we can keep the game moving. Here is a thought...what if the known guests agree to not guard themselves, and we all agree on who we are going to guard? If someone lies and guards themselves, we'll find out...and if they are attacked, we'll know who it was that attacked them???? Seems like a win-win situation to me... |

It seems like Alan T and DT weren't attacked because they're guests -- aren't the bad guys looking to attack people on the other team, not the guests? As for the guests guarding others, I'm not sure what you hope to accomplish. Who do we want guarded, anyway? And what about people who need to sleep both phases that night? |

It doesn't suprise me at all that I was not attacked. My fellow guests don't want to kill me as that is counterproductive. The upstairs or downstairs teams have no need to kill me as that doesn't get them any closer to winning. The way I see it right now, the upstairs team had a good position to win this easily, but for whatever reason didn't kill anyone last night. The failed attack on PurdueBrad makes me feel that PurdueBrad isn't on the upstairs team, but instead is on the downstairs team (possibly with Gonzo and one other I'm not sure of). Right now I am leaning to believe that the upstairs team had Render in it who is now dead, along with Ntn.. so they are a bit behind now. I'm guessing St.Cronin and Mr.Bug are the other two members of that team currently. I have no idea really who the lush is at all, so one of the above or Saldana is the lush. If I had to guess, right now its Saldana since Chief Rum never checked into the game. I am still a bit concerned with us not making it to day 4 to have a shot at winning, but last night only having one kill helped that alot. I think because I am guessing that Render was on the upstairs team, I likely will want to try to vote for a downstairs person today just so we don't risk helping the downstairs team win too quickly. Lathum voted for PurdueBrad earlier, but I actually prefer Gonzo for today's vote at least right now. PurdueBrad is "claiming" that he is a guest and has a role that someone else claimed, yet unhelpfully hasn't revealed that. If we lynch him, we don't necessarily find out the answer to that fully and there might always be some doubt to Neon's story. I personally would rather just let the upstairs team deal with PurdueBrad and we'll find out from the night kill if he was being honest or not. Olliegirl, one question.. you mention in your idea that instead of guarding ourselves, we guard other guests? I'm not quite sure how we accomplish that.. I don't believe I have any ability to guard another person. I doublechecked the rules and I didn't see where it said I could choose to guard someone else, just myself. Anyways, like I said, I want to vote Gonzo for the reasons listed above. We killed an upstairs person yesterday in Render, so lets go for the downstairs person in Gonzo today to try to keep the teams fairly close. Vote Gonzo |

I agree with Alan's line of thinking and I feel he's still been too quiet for my liking (bad internet and all)
so like day 1 vote Gonzo I won't be back before deadline as I have an ASU football game to be at. |

The reason I said that about guarding others was b/c someone (maybe DT) mentioned that he can guard other people, so I figured others could too...if everyone that can guard someone else does, tells who it is going to be ahead of time and then reports the information, we hopefully would be able to get some good info as far as who the killer(s) is/are...
