I think we should be trying to get as much Crystilium as possible to get the hell out of here. I don't see the point in exploration now, especially if we don't have the slaves available. We need to try and get enough fuel to liftoff.

The slave pens and sleep quarters are still fully accessible. The security system which provides automatic protection, however, is not working. What is NOT accessible are the Brig and Weapons Locker. I apologize for the poor wording on that area. |

So for those from the first game, any idea what SnDvls condition might mean?

Anyone have any idea how the spawn are launching all of these player attacks during the day cycle? I don't see anything in the rules that talks about anything resembling what we are seeing.

We don't know what the spawn overlord can do. If he's the will of the planet, that means a lot of stuff. Anyhow, I stand by the teams I suggested, if sndvls doesn't get better, we may ahve to go unplanned. We need to fix those engines and then start on the plant. -Talgian |

Fair enough. I'm confortable with working on the engine, if that's what everybody wants to do

He sure seems to have a ton of abilities - on Day 2 - given that he wounded a bunch of players, damaged a bunch of rooms, and did something to SnDvls.
The rules on a number, but not all, of the Spawn abilities indicates Night actions. None explicitly list Day actions. Which is what has me so perplexed. |

I think we'll need to have all 4 engineers repairing today (but we should wait until after our away team missions so we know better what is needed).
We also should send out 2-3 away teams to try to get off this planet as quickly as possible. I think that the attack was led by the overlord spawn and we could see another one tomorrow. More thoughts to come presently. |

My guess is he saw we were already WAY close to lifting off in excellent shape, has a bunch of 1/game (or similar) abilities he can use, and shot his wad early due to our major advantage. It's a nice play, if it was all/mostly his doing. |

I just saw what happened - holy shit.
I agree that we need to send away teams out whie repairs are going on. Other than that, I'm pretty disconbobulated. I'm taking my daughter to lunch and then to Tube Time (little kid's playground type thing). I should be back in 2 or 3 hours. |

We need to figure out what is gonig on with sndvls so we can either send out unplanned missions now or wait and plan them.

Hmmm...exhausted and wounded. I protected the cargo hold last night. It sucks not being able to do this at work so I can get "real time" updates.

For what it is worth, I guarded the slave pen last night. Nothing important happened, other than the slaves from the away team being pleased with their work for the day.

Also, I think there is a veteran player on the Spawn team. If hoops isn't one of them, I'd guess he's one of them soon.

I didn't start as one and I stayed awake last night in an effort to make sure I didn't get converted last night. I can't make any guarantees going forward, but if there is an empath out there he should be able to use this statement to check me out if he is so inclined.

Ok all PMs regarding the attack have been sent. If you didn't get one already it means you weren't destined to recieve one yet. Now going back to answer questions.

Right now, I don't really know if hoops is a spawn. I don't think he is, but I don't know. What I do know is that he's an engineer. He can fix things. If he says he is fixing something, and at the end of the day, it isn't fixed (or progressed) then we know he was faking, and is probably a spawn. So for now, let's get him afixin' (can anyone say engine?).

KWhit, there have to be better theories about who is spawn, given that I'm not one. I understand the question about being exhausted, which is why I addressed it right away.
I've gone out of my way to leave statements today for the empath to review if they are so inclined. I don't think there are many other players who have taken this step. |

I'll absolutely fix whatever I'm ordered to work on. If I don't have an order when I get home tonight I'll make an independent decision. But I do think we want our actions to be coordinated today, rather than each engineer repairing whatever they think is best.
That, in and of itself, is not a sure-fire test of innocence, but I agree its a start. |
