I enjoyed the finale.

The irony of Jax's life completely mirroring his dad was kind of a cool add in this season. Essentially, JT didn't want his boy to enter the life he had and drove his bike off a cliff to kill himself (with the hope that Jax wouldn't replace his mistakes). Early on, we were led to believe that Gemma and Clay did it. But, this season, the key line that "JT knew that bike like the back of his hand and wouldn't have ridden it had something been tampered with" led Jax to figured it all out. In the finale, he said that he understood and that he loved his dad - a tip to the hat to his dad for setting up the plan for him to finally end it all. He then went on to kill himself on his dad's bike to hopefully end this lineage of Teller kids leading SAMCRO.

Although, as an aside, there's little chance that Abel doesn't become some kind of hellion. Having 3 of his 4 "parental figures" killed and learning his grandma killed his mom (and prob that his dad killed his grandma at some point) means he will have issues. Not to mention the whole "kidnapped in Ireland" season.

Still, I think Sutter tired to clean it up a little too nice with the finale, but I appreciated how it played out. Jax didn't want anyone taking the fall for what he did so he came clean with the DA about his mom killing Tara and gave her a "wink/wink" that he killed his mom by giving her the address in Oregon. Marks and Peter Weller also had to die and by him killing them, no blowback on the club/Tyler. Finally, having the club let him escape means that they don't have to live with the idea of shooting and killing their best friend (like he would have had to live with killing his mom if he didn't end it himself). While having them do the Mayhem vote ensures the other charters won't treat them as rogue with repercussions.

Good summary and that song in the final minutes (which Sutter himself wrote) fit absolutely perfect.

I thought Tyler did some pretty solid work throughout the last several seasons. Definitely not the prototype gangbanger you normally see.

I was also impressed with Marilyn Manson as the white supremacist prison leader. I wasn't expecting much, but he was pretty solid.

All things considered, Nero is probably pretty happy. He made a nice trade from Gemma to what's her face.

I guess he basically got back to zero considering he was already loaded at the beginning.

Also I kept hearing Norco and thought he meant northern Cali but apparently he was moving south. I also thought this show was set near SD for some reason, lol.

Dola, much prefer the more full figured Ade to the Soprano version.

Sounds like there might be a spinoff focusing on The Mayans.
