Pretty sure that quickness of the comments after what Chief said would trump it. It would seem like a pretty big suicide move to have Chief "trick" us and have a wolf comment practically instantly after it was said. I could believe a later time would certainly make sense, but not right after unless Chief was about to die anyways, which he wasnt

Do you guys really think I'm that dumb? Woulda thought my credentials were established by now. I didn't read into the thread and usually don't until I get a PM from Abe. When I didn't, I sent him one asking him if he had missed sending me my allegiance. He then told me I'm a villager and the info's all in thread.

Really, guys, you think I would accidentally "out" myself? I haven't told one lie in this game (and by now, that's unusual).

We just had to get to the bottom of the Chief Rum thing as day 2 and he's the #3 or 4 candidate plus the shenagigans...i couldn't live with myself not knowing.

You escort the refugees north along the road. The sun is beating down hard, and people haven;t many possessions. Some of your hunt and forage for food to give to the people. You go without food much of the day in order to help them.

Around mid-afternoon, you see another group of refugees added to you train from the west. More are seen coming in, as you discover more and more invasion points have occurred in Sommerlund.

At dinner time, you agree to split off, and again perform the ceremony. As before, the votes are very close, but the decision has been made, and Initiate Thomkal has been selected. Unlike last night, he makes no move to protect himself. As multiple Mindblasts from those of you that can use them pierce his mental defenses, you are able to completely erase his being. He is now a virtually brain dead person, who has to be led around and told to do things. You get him protection from one of the refugees. It is clear that he was a Kai Initiate, and not one of the Darklords.

Night Actions will be processed as soon as I can.

FTR, I think every game should start with a GM PM spelling things out, for those of us who make it a point to avoid reading a game thread until they know what their role is in it. But mea culpa that I should have been more aware of what Abe was doing at the start of the game. Very busy time for me IRL, so not so easy to follow threads right now until the dedicated games start.

Crimson said he scanned you, so barring him being night killed or you having an ability to prevent it, we will know your allegiance for sure.

I wasn't right in thread the whole time. I posted around 20 minutes til, and stuck around a little, but then I went elsewhere in the Interwebs and came back shortly before 7 to vote. I scanned the intervening posts, and noted tie discussion, but I thought you guys were discussing the consequences of ties in the game, not actually engineering one. Backing me up on that, look at my response to you asking if I was following along--I even state there I wasn't concerned about ties, given the tiebreakers in place. That shows how I had been interpreting that.

Well, it'd be dumb for him to reveal you as a wolf if you're not as it just assures he is lynched day 4. It's possible he's a wolf looking to gain trust, but I'd say it's likely if he says you're a villager that you are regardless of his allegiance.

Since I'm alive I will. If it was a situation of someone outing himself due to a meta game reason, it sucks for the person, but what are people in thread supposed to do? Ignore it and let a wolf live just to avoid being meta gamey. Or vote that person and make up in game reasons that probably bring suspicion to them? I brought out the point that he commented on, but I thought he scanned someone and was curious to see if he did.

I had thought about the PM earlier, but wasn't sure if it was a breach or not so I decided to not run with it as it was one of those that is in th gray area and not part of the game

I would agree with this, as the potential metagame target. Although I'll say it's a good thing CF is scanning me, because I still can't believe you guys would think that as a wolf I would make that mistake. That mistake I can make only as a villager speaking every truth.

CR could still actually have just mispoke. I mean if you lie for whatever reason you run a risk of lying about the wrong thing. And if you try to tell the truth but get one word wrong, you also look guilty. That's all I saw really. This could easily be a bad bandwagon.
