Oh yeah Pass's Godfather game had 2 teams of 3 each (6 total) that merged when they got down to 3. The vilalge wiped them up then too.

Yeah, that makes sense - this is the rare game where the village gets to live even if they are temporarily dominated, because the wolves don't have the ability to have an iron-clad majority at that point. So maybe there are six, then, if there is some mechanic like them only getting one night kill per wolf for the game.

Honestly, it'd almost be easier if there were more wolves instead of less, because they won't have a choice but to somehow act in concert, unless they just refuse to talk to each other. Some sort of a pattern is better than nothing. But this is probably just me being a little crazy.

I had my doubts about you tyrith but these wolf number freakouts really make me think you're a villager.

Raw number of wolves doesn't matter, CF, it's all contextual, based off number of people and game mechanics. We have no information roles that don't involve people dying, which would generally make the game swing towards fewer wolves, not more. But with a non-standard kill mechanic six is definitely much more likely; having six wolves in a 19 person game would just be nutso with standard kills and win conditions, which is what I thinking about.

Well, if it was me in your chair, I don't know how seriously I'd take me right now - I could be just making up random nonsense. But since I am a villager, I suppose convincing other people of that fact is a good thing.

Welcome to a new era of werewolf. nutso or not, we have had games of 6 wolves with same total people and standard roles and standard nightkills, no separate wolf groups and everything. It does seem impossible but it isn't. It actually makes it harder for the wolves to hide imho.

It's true, there are definitely diminishing marginal returns to additional wolves, assuming there's at least a little bit of time to get going. Until the wolves start eating their own on day 1, that is, and then it would all go to garbage. A wolf team tried some stunt like being the first two voters on one of their own on day 1 yet?

I'm thinking it's probably a crapshoot again today, and then we take the two days of data and compare/contrast. Although if we wind up in a spike pit or some garbage I'm going to be ticked.

A spike pit, full of garbage. And rats. And clowns. And a vampire. And then the whole thing bursts into flame.

And regarding the votes, I am ok with all three candidates we seem to have, but I doubt I'll be changing my vote unless there is a tie situation.

I'm going yellow just because we didn't go with the prime color yesterday and it bit us... not a good reason but don't see anything else

I'll probably be going whatever is least popular among us as if we split it it leaves the other thread with a bigger impact in case they figured it out.

So its 4-3 dward right now? I'm considering switching to distance it out a little bit. Who knows if someone in other thread voted Dward.

Was considering voting dward myself tho since things seem settled and I still don't know about things. Currently there is tie potential. Were you guys happy to leave that possibility being exposed? (aka wolf vote funny business)

Oh, alright then. The two Schmidty voters said they wouldn't be around for deadline? I'm not sure I like those votes there at this late point.

Yeah I don't like the idea of a potential tie one bit. I'm not leaving it at just one vote with a couple of guys who might not be back for deadline. Either candidate seems fine to me.

I'm not comfortable with that run at all, seeing as the wolves are the only ones who can go between two threads and direct the vote

yup. I was about to do it anyway since I was worried about it. The others were settled on dward so I"d rather have a no tie situation and a high vote total as I've kept saying.
