Since I'm not dead yet I'll point out, as will undoubtedly come out, that the Judge is a villager role. i don't see any wolf roles that could have rigged this event.

You said it pb. It has nothing to do With a top down out and up strategy. Someone is either fishy or a judge and I aim to find out.

Everyone hears a rumor that there are those wishing to do harm to the good name of the olympic games. You begin to vote who that person may be. Early the thought is Poli, ntn gets a few votes but you finally decide upon Autumn.
You begin to gather everyone together to announce your decision to remove him from the games when PurdueBrad steps up and sayw "Wait!!!". "I have been given the power buy the IOC to over-rule this vote. I think that HE MUST GO!!!" Everyone looks to see where PurdueBrad is pointing. It's EagleFan. "What?" "Oh sorry, force of habit." "Him!!!!" He is pointing to Lathum. Lathum is stripped of his credentials and excorted from the village. You find that Lathum was a villager and was the judge. |

Indeed, Lathum told us he was the juicer day 1. And while I believed him, this proves it as his skills are not in skating, ice or precision.

I have a lot of words I want to type here that would be board inappropriate. Lathum, my fault. You almost never ping me and something from D1 and 2 did today and I was obviously wrong.
From a team Sweden standpoint and the waste of my points in this event, I don't feel so bad but I'm not happy about hacking a villager here. |

PB, i did indeed rig you. Reason being is you had a poor showing in the last event, so I knew it would either be you or J23 as having this be a strong event. Plus you guys medaled yesterday so I wanted to try and put some distance.
I got no info from Danny or Pass about who to nerf. |

This is why I should be duke, ever.
Again Lathum, my fault on this. Smart rigging by the way because I was likely going to take it (I'll be curious to see the breakdown per EF post-game). Anyway, nice second gold Lathum and, again, my bad. |

Well that sucks. Now we have a meaningless vote and someone who was cleared dead. PB is obviously cleared now and at least Lathum got to use his ability first.

I have said it a million times. I think it is a bonehead move to use a duking for the sake of using it. The odds of hitting a villager are so much higher it is a colossally poor play.
Good luck USA and villagers. |

Based on the result of today's outing I now believe I was the kill target night 1 and I blocked it with my 25% chance.

You all gather the next morning to collect yourselves after the rough previous night. You have lost another membr of the olympic village and there are just 13 of you left. You look around, and think to yourself "I thought there were 13 left"
The 12 of you look puzzled and begin to take notice of who is there. You notice that J23 is missing. Then you hear the story on the news. J23 was caught with a midget hooker, 2 pounds of peanut butter, a goat and cuban cigars in his room and was removed from competition for having peanut butter in his room. J23 was a vanilla villager. |

It may not help our olympic chances, but I put all 10 points into today's outing and while I get bronze, I think I should have had a better showing. EF told me there was a chance my skills might be lowered some if in fact I blocked a kill last night.

And I am the one from our team who got the 25% block and am not an uncommon night 1 target. I don't believe he is a wolf, but just in case with Lathum gone I don't want Pass to be able to reveal with this info later if I am dead.

Because I wanted silver and to use my points while I could. I usually don't live very long and knew the wolves might have already tried.

And FWIW, a wolf would have known that by killing me today, it would have taken out both Lathum and I. So I think that actually adds some trust to Pass.

EF, is your stuff during the events all atmosphere or does it actually have meaning. Like Lathum's high score, how you said it seemed to mean that he had one of the "cheating roles". But was this coincidence too? Just wondering if we should read anything into that stuff

To clarify. The skills that help for curling is ice, strength and precision.
Losing a member will only be a big disadvantage to a team if they lost their ice specialist or someone with strength or precision. Moreso if they lost both. With that said, effort can be the key. |

If the remaining players decide to send in their effort early I will begin the tournament throughout the day tomorrow.
That is entirely up to everyone though. I am fine with doing that tomorrow evening, just wanted to give you an option if you wanted to "follow" that through the day. Last edited by EagleFan : 02-24-2010 at 11:35 PM. |

Day 2
ntndeacon 4 - Autumn (272), MartinD (314), Danny (319), Thomkal Poli 2 - Lathum (278), KWhit (296) CrimsonFox 1 - Darth Vilus (286) Autumn 5 - Passacaglia (287), ntndeacon (337), PurdueBrad (354), Telle (357), Poli (362) Darth Vilus 1 - CrimsonFox (305) I know I'm villager and I have to assume that there's at least one wolf on me here. Knowing that PB is good I have four targets there, two of which I've already voted for once. I think it's possible one of ntn or Poli was a wolf given that I got four of the last five votes after those two were tied for the lead and I had only one vote. |
