My experience is almost the opposite. I think we think this happens but it almost never does. A wolf saving another wolf close to deadline is a death sentence for both. Chances of wolf A being back on the block next day or catching a seer scan is very high and then it's easy to connect the dots

I agree. A wolf never wants to have his vote saved for the end unless he is trying to save them self. It looks bad every game when a villager votes out another villager and draws attention to themselves.

Typically aren't wolves more invested in the game an therefore more likely to care more about night fall and the deadline results?
