Scouting Report
Potential
Has the tools to eventually become one of the most accurate passers in America. As he continues to grow, his touch passing game could become as good as the pros. His arm strength will lead to some unbelieveable passes as he matures. Might turn out to be a decent scrambling quarterback, but probably nothing special.

Good luck in the championship game and congratulations on pulling down all the hardware. Amazing numbers for your "backup" QB.

Randy is likely to find a good strength and conditioning program in the pros and win multiple Super Bowls while playing more consecutive games than Favre.

LOL I look forward to a pro game in which we can import classes in the future

Thanks for the good luck. I'm hoping we can pull off back-to-back championships and feeling good about my chances.

I won't hesitate to put Randy in if Sedrick is struggling..

Week 21:

Everyone is 100% healthy even the guys with the spinal injuries!

All suspensions are done, and everyone is available.

Sanders will start, but Randy will be our QB for 3rd and short situations due to his better scrambling ability...

Preview:

Oklahoma has the 13th best offense in teh country. They have a dynamic running game led by Kelcher who has over 1500 yards rushing and a few hundred more receiving. Their QB is a dangerous scrambler who has "only" 1400 yards passing. He has thrown for 13 TD's and 5 INT's.

Their defense has top talent at just about every position and is 4th in the nation. They are led by MLB Larry Gramatica who is one of the 5 best in the country. He has 86 tackles, 4 sacks, 12 stuffs, and 1 pick.

Our scouts believe our offense has significantly better talent than theirs.

Our scouts believe their defense has significantly better talent.

Our scouts think our Special Teams are slightly better.

We are 2 point favorites.

Gameplanning:

Our OC is running the same plan as all year.

Our DC will be cheating 8 men into the box to stop their running game.

Well, that is a disappointing ending to a great season. This offense might not be matched for a long time.

We are definitely losing a lot of stars on this team:

QB Randy Collins

QB Sedrick Sanders

RB Malcolm Maston

OT Mike Walker

DT Joshua Lewis

DT Marcus Thompson

CB Dwone Secules

We are also losing many key role players:

WR Dick Sayers
OT Jim Hayes
OG Carter
OLB Carlton
P Lelie
QB Garron
RB Donckers
RB Logan
WR Woods
TE West
OT Coleman
OG Bieniemy
DT Pardee
MLB Lipscomb
MLB Gross
Nickelback Wayne Cole
SS Carlton

We also have quite a few players likely to leave early:

(Most Likely players)

WR Jerry Jones
WR Billy Kelley
OLB Trevor Malone
K Matt Mason

Others might surprise me, but those are the ones that I think are most likely to go early.

This will end updates in this thread as the era of Randy The Glassman is over. However, I'm going to continue this dynasty in a new thread for at least a few seasons as I think we face an interesting challenge in trying to re-load.

Yeah. They had a lot of penalties as well, but I think ours came at more inopertune times. Oh well, there is always next year (or maybe 2 to 3 years from now as we need to develop some new talent.)

USC let Oklahoma stay in the game early and had way too many trips deep into their territory without scoring. I hate losing games like that.

Congrats on a nice four year run, especially the last two.

Are you planning to feature another recruit for the continuation of the USC career? Based on departing players, it looks like there will be opportunities for a stud freshman at a skill position. Hopefully one that is more durable ...

Yes. I'm going to start recruiting in a little bit, and I do plan on highlighting whichever QB I think has the potential to start as a freshman and put up great numbers over his 4 year career (obviously, I will be looking even closer at durability as a factor in making that decision.) I might highlight a HB if we end up picking up the biggest star there.

The next thread will start after this recruiting period is over.

I love the irony of this dynasty being about Randy Collins gearing toward the Heisman only to sit on the bench as his backup wins it.

Alberto and I are still awaiting the continuation of another dynasty, however.

It is rather ironic

I haven't forgot about Alberto. One of these days soon I'm going to resume FM 05

You can always start a new dynasty altogether in '06!
