All right, DiPietro, I am betting here you're still going to be hurt/suck, and Rolly will get the starts. Puck's in your court.

He didn't look real sharp last night, but it is only preseason I suppose.

I know, I know. The web sites I checked out are inconclusive as to who will really be in there, but what I did read seemed to give Roloson the edge.

Incidentally, for HB, it also seems that Toskala is still going to the guy in TOR, especially early on while Monster heals up from his surgery.

The Monster is my #3. He's the late round sleeper that will end up winning me the whole thing once he starts after 20 games and dominates.

What does that say about J. Howard in Detroit?

Honestly, he's not even the guaranteed starter himself (although he should be).

There are starters left. Not many, and no one worth a damn. But there is a small sprinkling (I think 4-5, but then you and I may have taken two of them).

I think Anderson is the starter...Budaj has had how many shots now?
But, it doesn't even matter, because about the only value he carries is maybe a handful of replacement wins if one of my top 2 is hurt, because he's going to get shelled on that team.

That may be the case, but when I was checking into that competition, they were still talking about the GK "competition". Budaj has not been ruled out as a starter.

I would agree with the second if our league is a one lineup per week setup. Every time I have done hockey in Yahoo, though, it has been change your lineup every night. Meaning you can switch out goalies pretty regularly, depending on if one's team isn't going that night. If you stick with just two and never change them, you'll quickly fall behind in the cumulative stats for goalies as the owners switching out their goalies rack up more starts.

It's why I have three goalies, and I intend to add another before the end of the draft.

Yeah, I'll just need to pick my spots to use him.

I have 1 more G in mind as well...but I can't say who.

Damn, last 2 pcks jacked me, would have gone with either of those guys

14.6 Jean-Sebastian Giguere, G ANA

Officially named the co-starter for the beginning of the regular season, pretty good value considering some of the other G that people are taking a flyer on IMO... gotta be close to a 50-50 chance he either gets as many starts as Hiller or gets traded somewhere where he can be the #1 IMO

The forums were down tonight so I'm giving everyone a little more time to make their picks. Hopefully we'll get back on a regular schedule tomorrow.

Nicely timed, bhlloy. He would have been picked by me this very round, if you hadn't grabbed him.

Great timing, TurnerONU22. I'd just posted a 3 PM deadline for your pick.

14.8 Brooks Laich, C, WSH

Just a reminder that the regular season begins stateside on Thursday night. We need to finish the draft ASAP.

Nice pick. That is the other guy I was referring to early when discussing taking a 4th G.

I think he could see up to 30 starts in Florida, not even counting an injury to Vokoun.
