Poli's new toy: It's a flail. You won't call it that, though. It's probably better known as "The Tentacle". This flail is awesome. Not only do you get to wield this oddly shaped flail...but at some point during your battle, you'll notice the chains turning into fleshy, powerful creature devouring tentacles that tie your unlucky friend up and preventing them from attacking for three turns, which could be an eternity. While The Tentacle is busy wrapping up your new experience present, you'll want a second weapon to help finish off the job. This flail delivers. It's got a surprising price tag to it, as well. Retail is 1000 gold.

Black market:
Poli gives PB the horse figurine PB, you'll get half of what the proceeds or something equivalent for what I get in return for the flail. Abe, I asked one of these in a PM but I know you don't like that. So, my next question, what classes can use a flail?

Cleric's can Poli and that would be a weapon I would be interested in. Does it have any other properties besides what you mentioned? What kind of stuff would you want in return? I'd like to send a trade offer along with the spider claw for you to identify.

I have gp, a healing potion, a part of a prestige item for your class, and (I believe) a scroll of recharging available for trade if any of these sound interesting.

Well, Jag, I'm listening, that's for sure. I am most definitely interested in getting this to one of you guys instead of selling it to the djinni.

Folks, for your viewin g pleasure, and to see the power level of a prestige item fully assembled, here is the one for monks
i will not answer any more questions about it thought Quivering Palm - 1500 gold - Monk. These gloves slip right onto your hands, and are so thin they do not interfere with a Monk’s attack. When a Monk wearing Quivering Palm attacks, they can hit any creature, even those not normally able to be hit by a weapon the Monk is using. The Monk’s attacks do significantly more damage in combat, and dodges increase in ability as well. +3 to damage and armor Since they are gloves, this would be +3 in addition to AC bonuses and +3 in addition to weapon bonuses.

Well, let me think about it...I will give you an answer before the next deadline. 550gp and the harp string (who knows what the value of that is). I do have the tuning fork, so that gives me two of the items.

I just don't know if I value the string at 450.

All parts of Prestige items are worth 100 gold each and have no usages or other abilities.

I understand. Selling it to the Djinni will only get you half of the 1000 gp price tag though, so you wouldn't be coming out behind in gp by taking the offer, not to mention the prestige item you can't get from anyone else. If you're able to assemble that, judging by the monk's item from above, you're going to be a happy bard. |

Has anyone taken a spin on the wheel of fate? I'm in the room with the wheel of fate, if anyone has taken a spin on it I would be interested in knowing the outcome. This room has an entrance to level 3 as well which I plan on taking.

Or you could sell it to someone else, your call. That thing is very valuable and I'm sure that no matter what I was able to give you in return would probably not equal what I was getting in the trade. I have no issues with you being in my debt, infact it has been quite fun giving you shit over the last week or so. Not sure I'm ready to give that up at this point.

PB, I'm kind of turned around now that we've joined up, so the current move options are a little confusing to me. Do you have a clue where we're at?

Yeah, Poli, I've been to this room. Forward leads us to the hellhound room that Danny and I started in. From there, there is one more room this level that nobody has been to and then it looks like we'll have to go to a darker level after that. It's your call. If we hang a left here, we go darker.

So we're still level 2, then? I say we go on for the hellhound.
By the way, accept the horse figurine, if you would.

It's hard to throw it in without knowing its value. How about I trade you the prestige item and the claw for the Tentacle, then I send you gp if there's a big difference in worth between the claw and Tentacle? |

Well, how about you send the claw with the rest. I'll ID it, and if it's value is over say, 300-400, I can make up the difference. I really doubt the claw would be half the value of the Tentacle.
If it's value is anywhere close to the Tentacle, we can work something else out or trade the items back.

Did somebody fight an Annis with a funky colored flame in a brazier?
If so, I believe I can piece together a huge chunk of the level one map. [Maybe nobody cares now that most are venturing deeper?] |

Okay, I have so much poison in me now that all the "healthy bacteria" in me is dead. Does anyone have a Cure Poison/Remove Poison item I can buy? As soon as possible, please? Thanks.

I still have my original day or two maps...but I kind of thought danny was taking the charge on it. His maps were a lot easier to make than mine were.

You doubt the value of a magic claw from a demon spider? Well, I'll take another stab at an offer: Black Market JAG gives Poli the unID'ed demon spider claw, a healing potion, a Celestial Harp String, and 200gp Poli gives JAG the flail Tentacle If the claw turns out to be junk, I will send additional gps. |
