Fighting for the greater good comes with a cost. If he is willing to offset that cost we may be in business. I do not have a scroll of teleportation though.

It is on level four but you have to take an action to save the town so you have no worries.

You spy the three pack of ghouls - KWhit, Simbo, and Thomkal, exploring a room with a pentacle and opened chest in the middle. Then the view shifts to PurdueBrad and JAG, running back from the room they just retreated from, and returning to this room.
