Stay safe tonight guys...our numbers are shrinking and with all the known wolves dead we need to speak up about any suspicions we may have about the "unknowns."
I was suspicious of Alan, Chief and Kwhit before. Chief it was for what I thought was chattin' me up instead of playing the game. Kwhit it was for throwing me under the bus for the "I live" statement. If I stay with Chief, was his rage earlier really for the vote tally or was it because he lost 2 comrades today? Really both arguments are weak, but it's all I have. Kwhit doesn't really give me anything to be suspicious about right now. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what happens tonight to see who we should start focusing on. Out for now, see you guys later! |

Yeah, it would make no sense for them to have the Brutal kill Henry, but that's how it read to me in the write-up. But you're probably right. It's probably a sacrifice thing. |

Okay, I'm going to suggest something although there is no way to know for sure everyone is on board since he don't want to out the bodyguard. An unknown wolf will have to make the kill tonight. If possible, I think the bodyguard should protect Mrs. Schmidty tonight. Mrs. Schmidty should follow me tonight. The wolves are either forced to let me make my scan or let Mrs. S see who killed me.

Hmm, it was also a great thought when he had it several hours ago. I thought this was already the plan? Or was I the only one reading Racer's posts today? I agree, it's a terrific idea.

Yes, you're right, the BG part is new. That actually occurred to me when I read it, but I didn't think it was my idea but already put in the thread. Mrs. Schmidty have you said who you followed last night? We might get another cleared individual from that, or at least know that person didn't kill hoopsguy.

I didn't say, but it was Henry. I was going to hold off saying anything unless he went up on the chopping block at some point.

All he did was sleep. I didn't think that either Alan or Telle would do anything last night since they both had so much heat on them. Without knowing who the other wolf/wolves are I just picked someone sort of randomly. I decided I would go with someone that didn't take part much in discussion. I thought that maybe he was afraid he'd give himself away.

IIRC Schmidty wasn't giving out details about wolf abilities. Seems like it might be a good counter for that rageaholic role though.

Technically, you haven't been proven good as far as I recall. Of course, nobody else has claimed a private eye role and you did give us EF and Telle, so you get a BIG benefit of the doubt, but you're not 100% proven.

Think what you want but you voted to create a tie in the waning minutes and you said it despite your wanting to vote for Alan T and that puts a huge red flag up in my book. Sounds like a desperate wolf ploy to me.

I'm the one that tied it up about 1/2 an hour before the deadline. I had already flipped earlier in the day and didn't want to seem like I was just following Racer around when he changed his vote again to Alan which is what I was thinking of doing also. While I knew both Telle and Alan were wolves and would have been happy with Telle being lynched, I also wanted to silence Alan because he seems good at persuading folks to at least doubt their decisions. I didn't want my fellow villagers and myself to have to listen to it anymore. So I had a delima...tie it up and hope someone else voted Alan as well, or stay on Telle and at least get rid of one wolf. At half an hour to go I moved back to Alan in the hopes that Jet would vote, or one of the others would also flip to Alan. At the time of my flip I said I would be happy to switch back at the last second to avoid a tie at deadline. I know waiting can have consequences if multiple people flip opposite ways and continue the tie inadvertantly. In hindsight I should have just flipped back the same time as Racer, but that's why hindsight is 20/20. At least it worked out! |

I stand corrected. At the time I had the 6 and 7 votes flip flopped and thought you'd made it 7-7. I apologize for my frustration but that is what I had thought happened at the time.

With the deaths of two more of the Order, there is finally a reason for hope. The death of henry296 was tragic, but also a boon. Sleep will be much sweeter tonight.
Despite the events of the day, some of the more paranoid among you decide to sleep apart from the group, while others gather to sleep in small groups of twos and threes. Exhaustion and satisfaction quickly lulls most of you to sleep quickly, and the night passes quietly. Morning comes, and you all gather in your usual spot on the second floor. All of you, except for one person – KWhit. Hoping that he is simply still asleep, you all descend to the first floor, and proceed to the shadowy corner where KWhit chose to sleep last night. Unfortunately, you don't find him sleeping – You find him laying face down, and body up. With horror, you realize that he is dead with a viciously snapped neck. You search his body, but only find a copy of “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. KWhit was the Manipulator. Day 5 has begun.

Any idea what the manipulator would have been? I'm guessing Duke. Which is weird for a couple reasons. First, KWhit usually plays a lot differently as the Duke. Second, I thought that he thought that I was hinting that I was the Duke, and I don't know why he would trust that, if he were.

This has been an entertaining read but now with Alan and hoops both out there goes 75% of the posts...
Sorry hoops, didn't see your post. Was remote desktopped over to my work PC and occasionally flipping back to read a few more posts to catch up. Nice job with the game Schmidty! It has been very entertaining. Can't wait until game over to ask a few questions of some players. |

But why did the wolves let racer live? Maybe the manipulator can manipulate the wolves into killing him instead of who they wanted to kill?
