New and Improved FBCB/FBPB Player Dynasty- Season 1 (2016-2017)
Ok guys, here we go. We have our 6 initial recruits that had been recruited in the old dynasty but never got a chance to play. I will list the player cards in order of national rank. Since I have so many that want to keep tabs on their player in the pros, and since I have gotten Brian's permission to send him files for manual import if needed, I should be good to go with importing draft classes. I hope. With that being said, the rule for this dynasty is that players can leave as early as after their freshman season. So just like in real NCAA, one and dones will be a part of this dynasty. Here are the players.

August 2016
C Patrick Hutt- Villanova is still #1 for Patrick, and Virginia has moved up, with Duke remaining in the top 5. New to the top 5 are Georgetown and North Carolina, with the Hoyas offering already. SF Benito Sheppard- The order of Benito's top 5 has definitely changed. Stanford is at the top now, and San Diego State is also in the top 5, both have offered. Arizona, UCLA, and Gonzaga round out the top 5. It looks as if Benito will stay out west. SF Will Brown- Will has a completely new top 5 this month, as Kansas, Iowa State, Iowa, Oklahoma State, and Wichita State are now in his top 5. He's got some decisions to make, as all 5 have offered. Whew! SG Bishop Palmer- Bishop has seen 4 of his original top 5 change. Kentucky stays in the mix, but LSU has jumped to the top spot with a scholarship offer. Also in the mix are Xavier, Florida State, and Gonzaga. SG Braydon Gale- Braydon doesn't have any offers yet, but like a lot of our recruits so far, has an almost brand new top 5. Kentucky is still in the mix from last month (Go figure), but Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, and LSU are all in the new top 5 as well. PG Aaron Ginsberg- Only 3 schools are showing interest in Aaron, and none of them are power 5 schools. Sacred Heart, Maine, and Vermont lead the way right now. |

C Patrick Hutt- Patrick has dropped North Carolina from consideration, and now seems to be down to 4 schools: Villanova, Virginia, Duke, and Georgetown. All have offered. SF Benito Sheppard- Benito has gone even farther, dropping 2 schools from consideration. Arizona and Gonzaga are out of the picture. Stanford and San Diego State have offered, UCLA has not. SF Will Brown- It's looking like the Big 12 for Will, who has it narrowed down to Kansas and Iowa State. Both have offered, and unless another schools jumps in late, the Oklahoma Mr. Basketball will not even consider a school in his home state. SG Bishop Palmer- LSU is still the only school to have offered Bishop, with Kentucky and Xavier behind the mix. Gonzaga moves up to 4th in the top 5, but Bishop has dropped Florida State from consideration and is now looking at Tennessee. SG Braydon Gale- Kentucky and Tennessee have now offered Braydon a scholarship, while Florida State and LSU are still hanging around. Miami is no longer in consideration, and a new school has jumped in with an offer, a school nobody would ever expect. Georgia State is 3rd in consideration for Braydon now. PG Aaron Ginsberg- Vermont is stepping up their chase for Aaron, as they've offered a schollie. Sacred Heart is still in the mix, but Aaron has dropped Maine from consideration. 3 new schools are now involved in Aaron's top 5, and these are a little bit bigger schools: Rhode Island, Fordham, and Boston College. |

October 2016
C Patrick Hutt- Unless someone new comes along, Patrick has narrowed his choices down to Villanova and Virginia. 2 good schools that you can't go wrong with, but Villanova has been the frontrunner all along. Virginia is probably going to have to make 1 heck of a sales pitch to jump Villanova. SF Benito Sheppard- No changes this month for Benito. Stanford and San Diego State remain 1/2 and both have given a scholarship offer, while UCLA hangs in the mix, but hasn't offered. SF Will Brown- No change for Will either. It's still a race between Kansas and Iowa State. The Cyclones need to make a late push, because Kansas has been Will's frontrunner all along. SG Bishop Palmer- LSU is still the frontrunner for Bishop, but Tennessee has now sent an offer. Unfortunately, they are still behind Kentucky in the top 5. Xavier and Gonzaga are hanging in the top 5, barely. SG Braydon Gale- Braydon isn't usually the kind of recruit Kentucky goes after. He's still in the top 100, but at a #65 national ranking, Kentucky usually goes for the top 15, 20. Regardless, Braydon has given the Wildcats a non-binding verbal commitment, and unless something drastic happens, he'll sign his LOI next month. PG Aaron Ginsberg- It's looking like Vermont for Aaron. He has dropped every other school except Vermont and Rhode Island. Both would be good choices, but Rhode Island hasn't offered, and I don't expect Aaron to wait around much longer. |

November 2016
C Patrick Hutt- It's official, Patrick signed his LOI with Villanova today, and he will be going to Villanova to play for coach Jay Wright. SF Benito Sheppard- Benito will be going to Stanford, as he signed his LOI today. SF Will Brown- Will has given a verbal to Kansas to play for coach Bill Self, but has not signed yet. We're told he's still waiting for Oklahoma to recruit him, but if they don't talk to him this month, he'll probably just sign with Kansas and get it over with. SG Bishop Palmer- Coach Cal didn't get his man this time, as Bishop spurned the advances of Kentucky, as well as Tennessee, and signed with LSU. SG Braydon Gale- Coach Cal hasn't gotten this man either, as while Braydon still has his verbal with Kentucky, he has not put the pen to the paper yet. Not sure what he's waiting on. PG Aaron Ginsberg- Rhode Island never offered, so Aaron will be taking his talents to Vermont, as he signed his LOI today. |

December 2016
SF Will Brown- Several schools made a late push for Will's services, as Wisconsin, Duke, and Michigan State all made offers, but Oklahoma never did, so Will went with the school that recruited him early and often, and officially signed his LOI with the Kansas Jayhawks. SG Braydon Gale- For some reason unknown, Braydon still has not signed his LOI. He's all but told Coach Cal he will be coming to Kentucky, but he hasn't signed. Why? Who knows? January 2017 SG Braydon Gale- In some absolutely stunning news, Kentucky has pulled their scholarship offer to Braydon. Coach Cal said that he was tired of waiting for Braydon to commit and was going to give that scholarship to someone that wanted to be in Kentucky. So with Braydon's recruiting now wide open again, North Carolina, Duke, Virginia, and Wisconsin have all been talking to him, but none have offered yet. February 2017 SG Braydon Gale- It's gotten even crazier for Braydon, as Carolina, Duke, and Wisconsin have lost interest. A whole host of schools are now showing interest though, with Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, and Wichita State all giving offers, and Virginia hasn't offered but are very high on Braydon's list. I don't think I've ever seen a 4 or 5 star recruit wait so long to sign. This is amazing, usually they have it done by November or December. March 2017 SG Braydon Gale- Braydon has finally put an end to what might be the absolute craziest recruiting process I've ever seen on this game. In the end, Georgia, Villanova, Wisconsin, and LSU rounded out the top 5, but Braydon signed with Florida State. What he was thinking about during his recruiting process is baffling, but nevertheless, he will be a Seminole. |

So that wraps up Season 1. Our 6 initial recruits for this new and improved FBCB Interactive Player Dynasty have signed. Just to let you know, some of the changes I will be making, I will still be going week by week, but I will have several different changes.
First, I am having a weekly section just for the games where one of our guys got POTG. Then, I'll have a separate section for key games. This will usually be a battle of top 25 teams, specifically top 10 or 15 teams, plus any big conference battles down the stretch that have a major postseason impact, as well as any big upsets. Then the last section will be all the other games. So there will be 3 sections: POTG Games Key Games Other Games Then, every week will have awards. For this season, it'll simply be Freshman of the Week and Freshman of the Month. When we have multiple classes, every class will have an award, Senior of the Week, Junior of the Week, and so on. I think this will add some flare to things. What do you guys think? |
