Obviously not everyone has had the same number of games played at this point, but some good numbers and a few lost players early. |

Always happens where I flame out early, but Keonig had a night man. Glad I did that.

I'll frame this for I will obviously flame out. But shout out to my two daring picks, I shouldn't have gone with the one and outs and I'd be in better shape, but I was half in ain't care mode and half confused about how this game operates.

My apologies for the silence in the thread over the weekend--I was traveling without reliable computer access. Updating scores when I can during the workday.

Well, I just discovered an embarassing spreadsheet formatting mistake I made. It affected B&B, kingfc, and Karl's totals until I caught it for the Sweet 16. Going to go back and fix those tables, too.

Looking at where B&B and king ended up after the correction, yeah, glad I caught that.

Two standout picks: YD's pick of Sindarius Thornwell (1st round, but all the same) has netted 103 points and counting. B&B's 4th-round grab of Tyler Dorsey, meanwhile, is an incredible value; Dorsey has 98 points, behind only Thornwell in the NCAA tournament.

For the title chase, B&B has Dorsey and Nigel Williams-Goss in his corner; henry has Dillon Brooks and Kennedy Meeks; and I have Joel Berry and Jordan Matthews (woo 6th round!). There's certainly a world where Thornwell scores 80 over the weekend and YD steals the win, though.

Yah, if I hadn't been so risky with my other stupid picks, we'd be in good shape right now. Thornwell was on my fantasy team this year, so I knew he was the goods. In general, pleased with my performance across the games. It helped that I knew players better than I have in the past.

I'm at least guaranteed one in the finals, but I think B&B is the favorite.

This contest is always fun to follow.
So many different strategies and drafting. Thornwell had an amazing stretch.

I have to apologize that I didn't update after Saturday's games. Being a UNC grad and fan, I got a liiiiittle caught up in the excitement of things. I'll update the standings round-by-round for a touch of drama.

Heck, let's go game-by-game. After GONZ-SC:
Code:
23 from NWG really helped B & B, particularly as Gonzaga advanced. I passed henry with Mathews's help, and YD just finished short of ntndeacon after Thornwell gave him a "mere" 15. |

After UNC-ORE:
Code:
henry puts a bit of pressure on with 25 from Meeks. I strike lucky with a Zag and a Heel in the title game, but the spread is enough that this is still B & B's to lose. |

After the title game:
Code:
Logan just sneaks past ntn and YD for fourth on Jackson and Hicks's combined 29. Berry's MOP-earning 22 bridged the gap to bring me into a tie with henry, but NWG's 15 helped B & B hold us both off for the title. Congrats, B & B! Thanks to all for playing. |

Congrats B&B. I had Williams boss typed as my first round pick and changed to josh Jackson at the last minute. Oh well.
