Well that was a first for me!

I didn't really process what was going on until it was over. At first it seemed like a sudden heavy wind against the windows. I looked outside, it didn't look like there was any wind, and my brain was just frozen. I walked into another room and that's when I felt the house shake. Then it was over. It doesn't sound like there's any damage around town.

It was a 6.5 centered about 95 miles north near Stanley, one of my favorite places. There's not much to damage up there, apparently everything's generally OK there too.

But, there has been a ton of earthquake activity in the west the last few weeks. Just this week there's been a bunch of articles about the Yellowstone Volcano risk increasing (though I feel like I've read that a lot over the years). At least if that happens - we won't have to worry about COVID-19 anymore!

This feels like a disaster movie. Just one thing after another after another, plague, earthquakes , and they're saying this will be a horrible year for hurricanes

And there will be some epic floods I believe in the Midwest. The rivers have not come down from the Fall.
