Quick Simming seasons
Hey there. I'm a new FOF4 user, and I want to run a few decades in the league before I take over a team, so I'll have some history. How do I do so without having any effect on a team? I've been running a league through some seasons, but it seems that my lack of action on the Free Agent market for my team is having an effect. What do I need to do?

Welcome to the board. I hope you enjoy your stay. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about your lack of action in the FA market. I'd recommend removing the "fire the coach" option before you begin quick simming, because your team is going to stink. You can set everything to be automatic except for the 20-Step process.

Ah, thanks for your quick reply. I guess then I will just start with no 'history'. I ran a number of seasons before gettign your reply, and although the team was way under the salary cap ;-) performance was certainly lacking. That doesn't suit my desire for realism, so I'll skip that idea.
Thanks again. |

This is a feature that I saw in Season Ticket Basketball that I would love to see in FOF. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to impliment (of corse I am someone who hasn't done any progamming since my 7th grade computer class 15 years ago, so what do I know).
