Recruiting

We have 5 scholarships available, these are the 5 we have offered with a week left before the early signing period.

Philip Brown
Brown is a 2-star 6'8" 229 lb power forward from West Allis, WI. He is a good rebounder with above average athleticism and intelligence. We are the only offer he has but he is also considering Western Illinois.

Kody Rost
Rost is a 2-star 6'4" 189 lb shooting guard from Peoria, IL. He is a good shooter and defender with good athleticism. Along with our offer he has an offer from Illinois State, right now it is too close to tell whom he will sign with.

Ronald Hall
Hall is a 2-star 6'5" 194 lb small forward from Indianapolis. He is a good shooter with good athleticism. His only other offer is from conference foe, Morehead State. He is leaning towards signing with them next week, but IUPUI is showing a lot of interest.

Tyrone Hehn
Hehn is a 2-star 6'10" 220 lb center from Chicago. He is a good rebounder with limited offensive ability. We are his only offer at this point, but he is also considering IPFW, Morehead State, and Chicago State.

Earnest Rollins
Rollins is a 3-star 6'3" 200 lb shooting guard from Indianapolis. He is a good shooter, defender and ball handler with very good athleticism. Unfortunately it looks like he will sign with conference rival Tennessee Tech next week. He is also getting interest from Western Kentucky and IPFW.

Recruiting

Sunday is the first day for recruits to be able to sign their letters of intent.

Hall signs with Morehead State and Rollins signs with Tennessee Tech, not a great start. We now have 2 scholarships back on the table, we make offers to:

Dante Parker
Parker is a 2-star 6'6" 205 lb small forward from Dayton, Ohio. He is considered a good shooter. He currently has an offer from Western Carolina but will not sign until after the season, Morehead State is also showing interest.

Harvey Fuller
Fuller is a 2-star 6'1" 176 lb shooting guard from Bollingbrook, Illinois. He is a good athlete with good ball skills, shooting and defensive ability. Our scouts really like him. He has no other offers but is getting recruited by Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Bradley, Loyola (IL) and Eastern Michigan.

One small recruiting note, Dante Parker is strongly leaning towards Western Carolina or Morehead State so we have rescinded our offer. We now have an offer to Lionel Barro.

Lionel Barro
Barro is a 3-star 6'7" 210 lb small forward from Wichita, KS. He is a good shooter with very good athleticism. We are currently his only offer, but Arkansas-Little Rock, Missouri, and Tulsa have all expressed interest.
