Thoughts on my next game
Hey guys-
Running my second game soon (I think I'm a few away still) and wanted to get your opinions. A- Transformers- I have a Transformers game ready to go, with three sides (Autobots, Decepticons, and a rogue Fallen). It's an involved, large game that I would probably need a co-moderator for. Every character has a role/ability. B- G.I. Joe- Based on the old school cartoon that I (and probably several of you grew up with). It's a more generic game, with some flavor but nothing over the top or too involved. Two sides: G.I. Joe and COBRA. C- Ocean's 12- The sequel to my initial game, the Ocean's 11 game. Generic with a team goal of knocking off certain targets (similar to the way success works with EF's meetings in his current game). Those are what I'm working towards but I figure I need to narrow down the focus to one game. |

I voted 12, but I could easily enjoy a GI Joe. Football season, though, runs a few more weeks for me.

Transformers or Ocean 12 sounds good. I like "everybody has an ability" games, and the "targets" element of Oceans 12 sounds fun too.

That's me too. Just because of the "genericness" in this sense, not because of the IP. A GI Joe with different abilities per character would be good fun. Especially if I was Snake Eyes. |

Yeah, nothing wrong with G.I Joe, but I prefer unique and interesting games over generic ones usually. Last edited by Danny : 10-20-2009 at 03:07 PM. |

Plus being Optimus Prime or Megatron would kick some serious butt.

I went with transformers, but I would need to see the rules to determine how complex it is. I just don't have the time I used to have to play.

Basically, each night, every character would have to submit an action. It would be like an 9 PM CST deadline for all those actions and votes and a 9:30 PM CST deadline for night actions. So it may not be super intensive in terms of having to be on all hours of the day, just something where you'll have actions to submit.

Add me too the Transformers group, based on what you have described as your intentions for the game rather than making a comment pro/negative about the themes.

Megan Fox - probably the most stupid tattoo I've ever seen on a smoking hot woman.

Take your pick from these images to scope it out for yourself.
hxxp://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=megan+fox+tattoo+marilyn+monroe&gbv=2&aq=6&oq=megan+fox+tat&aqi=g10 I guess the "Lathum" ink is a little more discreetly hidden. |

Clap, it is usually done with content that might be considered questionable, depending on the work environment.

Forum policy. If you link something that is deemed inappropriate content, you can get your account temporarily locked for a few days. If you aren't sure where the link may go, it is always safest to use hxxp instead of http here. Note, if you specifically hxxp to a porno site though, you may still get your account locked, so hxxp is not an excuse to link anything in the world you feel like it of course. |
