GM Sign-Up Thread

Below is our list of people who are interested in hosting a game. If you would like to be added to the list (or taken off) please post in this thread. You will see in the bottom that I post as of what post number this has been updated through in case I make a mistake.

Small Games are currently in-active due to lack of overall activity. Players on the inactive list may be placed back in the main queue if they post here prior to February 1st.

We have two types of games. Large games, designed to be the "featured game" and small games, a way for players to play a quick more intimate game. When signing up please say if you want to host a large or small game.

The guidelines for small games are as follows:
1. Small games are going to be capped at 11 people, but may be smaller. It is encouraged that priority be given to players not in the large game (whether through choice or death/lynching).
2. Small games tied to the large games. No small game will start if the large game has fewer than 16 players.
3. Small games should start on Day 3 or Day 4 of the large game.
4. GMs are encouraged to keep the small games simple.
5. For hosting priority will first be given to those not signed-up for a large game and then for players who are not in the top 5 for hosting a large game.

At this point please drop me to the bottom of the list. My client commitments in May are going to make it impossible for me to run a game and I don't want to be slowing up other people who have time and games ready.

Hopefully I'll be able to get back in the moderating business sometime over the summer.

Thought I had posted this, maybe I am losing my mind.

I'll throw my hat back into the ring. It looks like I'll have plenty of time to prepare, which may be a good thing since I have way too many ideas that I need to look into.

I've got an idea for a game (well a bunch, but one that's simple and mostly fleshed out). Throw me on the bottom of the list. It looks like I've got plenty of time before worrying about scheduling it in.

Can I please get added to the GM list. I have a game based on the Stardust movie/novel that I would like to run which I think could be fun.

If nobody minds, I would like to be added to the list. I've only run one game, the Ocean's 11 game, but I'm planning on running a Transformers game and working on an eventual Ocean's 12.

BK, you're gonna have to take me off the list, because by the time my number comes up, I'll be in the midst of last-minute wedding preparations.

I had missed this originally. USFL what dates aren't you available? We can certainly just plan around that.

8/22 is the big day, so just consider anything after 8/15 to be off-limits for about 3 weeks.

We will shortly be coming up with our 100th Large Game. It seems like a time to do something special and I wasn't sure what that might be. Abe approached me with a couple of suggestions one of which I really like and which will be a more collective approach to a WW game. Here's what I am proposing for our 100th game:

We would start out with basic WW rules. As people sign-up they would then be able to add one rule or role to the game. In this way the whole community can contribute to our 100th game.

Let me know if you think this would be a nice way to celebrate this landmark game or if you have some other ideas.

But what if you listed the same game twice and #100 really becomes #99 and we waste #100 on Pass' game. (Kidding Pass

You joke, but while there was one roman numeral run twice, I fixed that numbering later by skipping a game before running Spawn I, I actually can't find WW 81. And I am quite confident that WW 46, which was supposed to be path's hatfields vs mccoys, never ran. Meaning that our number is at least one off, and possibly 2 (81 could be around and I just missed it).

Ok after some more digging it appears Marvel 2 was 81 and the only game # we didn't have was 46, which we appears to have just skipped over with-out playing. Which means that Pass you should go ahead with your game after Abe's. I will probably fix the #s tomorrow but basically the current game running is 98, not 99 as numbered. If we're going to do the 100th game, let's make sure it's ACTUALLY the 100th "large" game.

Ok I was wrong again. I went ahead and renumbered the games, so every WW game we've ever had is now numbered correctly. However, someone messed up and gave a duplicate # along the way which I missed when I went through this the first time. So the current game really IS 99 and the next game will be 100.

Nice job! I'm just glad we're not wasting #100 on a female body builder.

Are we at 99 or 100? Who is up next? If Lathum and Pass aren't available for their's I can get signups together but still finalizing the rules and balance. Going to do one that is loosely based upon Valkyrie (or the idea of it). It will be WW2 themed with a twist in that the wolves are technically the "good guys".

I'm not sure that BK is around right now - he has an Australia trip (if I recall correctly) around this time and I know he was going to be out for awhile.

Normally this would not be a big deal, but with some effort going into game #100 I'm not sure where that leaves us in terms of kicking off the next game.

The small games we ran were not counted in the 100 correct? Perhaps this is a good time for someone to run an 8 person small /simple rules/vanilla werewolf game that doesn't get counted? (That is as long as those games were not counted in the number obviously)

The post where he mentions the count he specifies the count including large games. I anyone is interested I'll post signups for a small 10 person game for the week, it will be plain vanilla WW with a 10 person limit to keep it small. Would 10 count as small? If not it'll be 8 person.

Sorry I am indeed away and had simply forgotten to check FOFC (I know shame on me) when I was connecting to the internet. I am glad someone stepped up for a small game. As I previously stated I do think it best that we take some time off and so I think a small game is a good thing for the interim. I had another idea, but don't have the access at the moment to make it happn.
