Anyone mind if a sword accidentally falls on Danny tonight while he is sleeping?

I would be more worried about the sword than big old smelly Jar Jar. So, ummm, nah, go for it.

Just got back from a staff meeting that ran over. We had a death in the building next to ours and it took longer for this meeting than I expected. Will start processing now

I just identified the wand I found earlier as a Wand of Magic Detection.

I am willing to trade that to someone who has something to either heal me (I lost 4 HP during my fight against the invisible Godzilla sized monster) or a magical sword or armor.

Let me know.

Searched my room, found nada. I'm going to sleep tonight as I got my ass kicked and all and found nothing worth while. Hopefully tomorrow goes better.

I'm missing afternoon actions from 7 of you. I have to run a couple of fights,. When I come back, if I have actions, i'll run them, and if not, you miss this action (and no, you cannot move not)

well I went ahead and searched the otherwise empty room and found some herbs that will bring me back to full hp, though I will still be poisoned I'm guessing. So I wish you all a good night and good dreams. See you in the morning.

Afternoon actions are completed. I did not get any from 5 of you. Tesch Tesch. I know today and the next day or so will be acclimation for you, but these actions have now been run, so you just missed this one, sorry.

The evening action is due at 1 am.

REMINDER - You MUST sleep for the evening action unless you are a Sis'Sharr. Sis'Sharr - you must sleep once every other day. You may take a non-move action during the evening, or you may sleep and save it for tomorrow.

It is assumed that if you send me no pm, that you want to sleep, so don;t clutter my inbox with "I want to sleep" pms

Morning actions are due at 10:00 am tomorrow. I will take them now. If you send me a morning action, please title it Morning Action Day 2 so I know you are not an evening action on day one. Thanks!

Back in the day, when I was a chubby little D&D nerd, instead of a slightly bigger, much more chubby former D&D nerd, I used graph paper to do my maps. Tremendous useful. Back then, I had it all over the place because of school.

I am no longer in school, ergo I do not have graph paper now. But that's what I would do.

I ran into not one, not two, not three, but four Gucan archers. Or something like that. I don't know what those are, but it was a fierce battle. For the most part, they died with one swing of my mace, but did I mention there were four of them?

Needless to say, they all be dead now. I got some gold and an unidentified potion and some wounds to lick.

Hey Jackal, how much experience did you gain from your battle? I figure as a fellow cleric, you level up at the same rate I do.

Some have asked for the armor chart, so I will present it again. Here are teh various levels of protection, in order from least to most:

Robes
Leather
Studded
Chainmail
Platemail
Full plate

The most some classes can wear is robes, other studded, and other full plate

I got a good pm question just now, so I am bringing it up here, in case others have the same question:

You will automatically pick up everything you find except for weapons and armor - see exceptions below. So, if you find a Wand, a scroll, a potion, a ring, etc, you will automatically pick it up.

If you discover a magical weapon or armor, you will automatically pick it up unless you have hit your encumbrance. Then you will need to tell me that you want to exchange. So, for example, if you have two armors, and you find a magical set of armor, you will NOT pick it up unless you tell me you wish to do so. This doe snot require an action, merely a pm.

You will also automatically pick up any armor that is non magical and better than what you are wearing, if you can wield it. So, for example, a Bard discovering a non-magical suit of studded leather would immediately drop their suit of leather for it and equip it. However, they would not automatically pick up a non-magical set of chainmail, because they cannot wear chain.

The same is true of weapons.

When in doubt, with armor and weapons, just tell me what you want to pick up and you will be safe.

You can also drop an item at any time with out needing to take an action, just pm me*

* - Exception - equipped cursed items cannot be dropped.

Also, if you Investigate an Item in your inventory, you can only choose one item. Hope you don;t break it...
