Any Pure FOF2004 Forums???
Nothing against this forum but seems like 99% of the posts here are not about FOF2004... I was just wondering if someone could point me to a link where it's all FOF.... I just purchased the game and want to talk...
Thanks!!! |

That's the beauty of this forum. You can talk about everything all year long. It's never out of season There's a lot more FOF talk during football season.

Just ask a question, and/or check the reference thread, and you'll get *plenty* of good FOF2K4 discussion. The deal is that this is, in internet message board terms, a relatively "old" and small forum. There is a core group of people who have been posting at this board, and its previous versions, for over 5 years now. It is somewhat akin to a small town around here, where any and every subject gets discussed. However, there is a wealth of FOF2K4 knowledge represented here and many of us still love to talk about the game when it comes up.

Not to mention football is in the background (for most) right now with baseball, basketball, and hockey all going on.
The discussion gets bigger as football season gets closer. Todd |

Seriously, I know it's huge, but read the reference thread at the top of this forum... LOTS of great stuff in there. Just skim it... play the game a while... come back... read more... post questions... lots of folks here are willing to answer. Some of the FOF2k4 dynasty threads can be a good source of info, too.

Kuroth:
Welcome. Yes, this is the right place. Other forums discuss FOF occasionally, but this is Grand Central Station for FOF discussion. Indeed, it may be the center of ALL sports career text sim discussion, but I'll leave those bragging rights for others. We don't discuss FOF as much anymore because it's in its fifth version (or 6th if you count TCY, or 7th if you count TCY and leper stepchild FOF 2002), and we've discussed, praised, criticized, and/or analyzed just about every aspect of it at one time or another. Whenever Jim releases his next game, we'll get another burst of discussion. Anyway, go do your searches, then ask your questions. You're sure to get some intelligent answers within a few hours. |

And just to explain some in and outs of this forum, you have just witnessed a rare case of double HBmania. Yes, we have 2 members named Honolulu Blue, one of them's got an _ or underscore. You can tell them apart by their custom-made title. One is a dynasty boy (without the _), one is a hockey boy (with the _).
Voila, there you have it.

dola Kuroth,
If you wanna talk about FOF2, I'll be your humble servant on this board although I doubt you've ever heard of it, that game was released way back in 1999.

Whatever you do, don't ask for a separate forum for FOF comments only to keep everything neat and tidy and easy to find. You will be lynchified.

Except with the new board style the name is underlined and you can't see the underscore anyway.
