0-2 and making

Texans-they likely will rebound when they face easier opponents

none of the rest look good enough right now to make the playoffs (famous last words) though if Atlanta can find a defense again they could make it

2-0 and missing:

one of Cards, Seahawks, Rams-the NFC West is the "Division of Death" this season if 49ers get back on track especially/recover from injuries. Can't see them all make it.

Raiders
Steelers-can't see them beating Baltimore this season, will probably lose some winnable games.
Bears-not a believer yet. division looks weaker this season so far.

Bears could be 15-0, and I'd still be like "not sure if they are making the playoffs. Still don't trust Trubisky"

0-2 making it:
Texans
Dolphins - No other good candidates and I think the division is up for grabs this year.

2-0 not making it:
Cards - Kyler is good, but I think there are still some holes on the team, and they play 6 games against the Seahawks, Rams, and 49ers. I do not see them going better than 3-3 against that slate.

Bears - Trubisky is an albatross on their neck, despite the good start.

Raiders - They are going to be close, I see them falling just short.

That would assume HOU catches DEN for the last wild card, while ARZ misses out in a crowded division and wild card race. CHI vs MIN was the other coinflip, after also flipping between HOU/TEN and DEN/LV.

But, I haven't seen as much of NFL action as I have in recent years (it's lowest since discovering it in the 1999 season), so I feel less confidence in my picks this season.

0-2 and making the playoffs
Dolphins 3-3 in the hunt
Jets nope
Bengals 1-5-1 nope
Texans 1-6 YIKES
Broncos 2-4
Giants 1-6 but like 1.5 games out?
Eagles 2-4-1, but in first place?
Lions 3-3, very lions-like
Vikings 1-5
Falcons 1-6
Panthers 3-4, won 3 in a row, but lost last 2

2-0 and missing the playoffs
Cardinals 5-2, look like a WC lock
Rams see above
Seahawks 5-1 see above
Packers 5-1
Bears 5-2 and look like dogshit
Chiefs 6-1
Raiders 3-3, but maybe can get that 3rd wildcard
Titans 5-1 look like a lock
Ravens 5-1 look like a lock
Steelers 6-0, best steelers start in my lifetime
Bills 5-2 look like a lock

I'm not what you'd call "good" at this.

Situation with 3 rounds of games to go and without checking the various tie-breaker situations

0-2 and making the playoffs
Dolphins -> on tie-breakers currently projected to be in
Jets -> nope
Bengals -> nope
Texans -> not this season
Broncos -> need to check, but I suspect they're eliminated
Giants -> still in the division title race
Eagles -> never say never in that division
Lions ->2 wins behind the last wild card
Vikings -> still a game behind the last wild card
Falcons -> 3 wins behind the last wild card (probably eliminated)
Panthers -> 3 wins behind the last wild card (probably eliminated)

2-0 and missing the playoffs
Cardinals -> still hanging on to the last wild card
Rams -> shoo-in
Seahawks -> shoo-in
Packers -> already in
Bears -> 1 win behind the last wild card
Chiefs -> already in
Raiders -> game behind the 3rd wild card
Titans -> tie-breaker division leaders, 1 win ahead of the wc in/out
Ravens -> on the bubble, not in right now
Steelers -> shoo-in
Bills -> shoo-in

So, as of now, the correct answers are:
Dolphins
Bear, Raiders, Ravens

And my Anti-Pittsburgh bias for beating my beloved Cardinals in the Super Bowl strikes again. And sadly my prediction for my beloved Cards was right too.

Damn you, Bears. (And the injuries to half the 49ers, and the extra playoff spot.)

cuervo72 and QuikSand, we could call this a three-way tie, as we were all 1 team off from being perfect: cuervo72 missed the Bears, QS missed the Cardinals, I missed on the Texans. Which after how this went down initially is quite the surprise that anybody could come as close as being wrong on just 1 team.
