Wells didn't smoke enough weed to stay on the team.
I heard the Blazers are going to waive Person and bring in some white guy from the Italian league who is supposed to have talent. His name is Geoff Spicoli. |

This is it. This is the move that will make Jerry West look like a genius again. It's been reported that teams are refusing to deal with the Grizzlies because of West. Most GM's think "If Jerry West is interested in this guy we put on the block, what does he see that I don't see? This guy must be better than I originally thought." Well, the Blazers couldn't take Bonzi anymore, so they figured that they'd dump him on whoever would offer up a good deal. Jerry West usually knows what he's doing, and if any system can turn Bonzi Wells into a model player (on the court, anyway), the system in Memphis can do it. Hell, this is the same system that has turn Jason Williams into a textbook point guard!
I can't wait to see how this works out. Go Grizzlies!

I am a troll, and if I don't stop this behavior, SkyDog is going to contact my ISP.

Memphis has a glut of SGs and SFs now, makes me wonder if there's another deal West has in mind. I'd still love to bring Battier to Chicago.
