Every player is in the top 100, which is nice. We have some good looking talent this year, but crappy scouts may cause a rumble when we see these guys in college next season.

We have 15 colleges in the FOFC group with original school Nebraska ending its tenure while Florida comes back aboard, along with Cal.

We are now watching 11 players in the NFL, 24 in college and 5 new HS recruits.

We have 4 seniors that will graduate- Wilson, Gale, Clark and Myers- though it would be no surprise if Miami's Heath wasn't tired of losing and left early.

Yearly disclaimer... as Anchorage is the school I have to view recruits by, I hire new coaches each year, if needed, to maximize their abilities in the positions that have been requested for the recruits to come in that year- if I know the position, and not just the state.

Unfortunately, since I do nothing for the Anchorage team, they suck very badly, and getting any half-way decent coaches to come to Anchorage is very difficult. When trying for a new scout, I usually have just 15 or so to choose from- most of whom really are terrible.

An X denotes an off week
An F denotes a game vs. another FOFC team
  • Once again, Clemson has the toughest schedule, preseason ranking wise
  • Also again, Florida State and Georgia Tech are #3 and #4, respectively
  • Tennessee has the easiest FOFC schedule, though at 2.20 (on a 5.00 scale), it's still not a cakewalk
  • Georgia ends the season playing FOFCers Tennessee, Florida and Georgia Tech

Wilson hopes to get his career going as a senior following last year- which we won't mention for the jinx bug. Danny gained 23 points to his current. Wilson may be one of those better in the NFL players.

PROJECTION: Starting DT

Clark gained another 5 points to current and will end his tenure as the #1 DT Penn State has. James would like to double his output from last season but, with so much talent at State, there may not be the chances to do more.

PROJECTION: Starting QB

Kevin gained 0 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting S

Heath gained 9 points to current, Unfortunately, Miami still has more holes on its team than swiss cheese. When you are 50 points better than the next best player on your defense, you need to make every tackle. Kevin seems destined to do that- if Miami is to win many games.

Mack gained 3 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting OLB

JeeberD made a 4 point gain to current. The good news is that all other OLBs also have a shitty coach, and Mack is slated to finally get his shot at stardom. If Mack can make some plays, the mediocre D-line will not be exposed and UT will have another great year.

Kyle gained 1 pound in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting WR

Kappe gained 9 points to current after last offseason's stagnation. There is a severe drop-off after the two starters at WR for the Trojans, so staying healthy is of utmost importance for Kyle, though SC will likely run the ball quite a bit. Still, last season Kappe was 1st team All- Conference and another such year is expected.

David gained 0 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting ILB

Gonzalez gained another 9 points to current. The Trojan defense has one hurdle to overcome- a 10 rated safety while two freshman are redshirted. David will need to get more than the 1 pick and 5 passes defensed he managed last year in order to cover the safety's ass.

David is getting 20% Weight and 16% Film.

Brian gained 6 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting QB

After losing 10 points to current last year, Butts gained 17 points this go-round. A surprise starter- and an effective one at that- last year, Butts knows he will lead the Jacket offense this year. Of course, it ain't that good, but Brian is still their leader.

Brian is getting 8% Weight and 31% Film.

Tater gained 1 pound in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting WR

Gator gained 23 magic points to current and is now a player the young QB will need to look for in tight situations. With Tater and the other WR at 73, Tennessee has the potential for big play after big play, especially with that line holding off the defense and giving Gator time to do his thing.

Mister gained 0 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: #3 RB

Sachmo gained 6 more points to current. Unfortunately, Tim Brice left but the cupboard is still full. There are 3 RBs vying for playing time and we just do not know how much of that time will go to Mister. The other RBs on the Tennessee team are:
  1. Sr- 69/82
  2. R.S. Sr- 67/87
  3. R.S. Sr- 49/62
  4. R.S. So- 56/74

Tobias gained 9 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: #3 DT

Beecher gained 16 points to current, but with the depth the Wolverines possess at DE, the R.S. So will be looking on from the sidelines for a year, as both starters will be gone next season. Still, Beecher needs work to win a job next season. The other DEs on the Michigan team are:
  1. Sr- 64/100 (Danny Wilson)
  2. Sr- 47/55
  3. R.S. Sr- 33/52
  4. R.S. Jr- 46/98

James gained 7 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: #2 DT

Jackson gained 22 points to his current rating, but it will be good for a part time job for this year. The starter is graduating and James is the only decent DT left, so any injury will give him the job. The other DTs on the Florida State team are:
  1. Sr- 68/100
  2. Sr W.On- 3/34
  3. Sr W.On- 12/25
James is getting 24% Weight and 13% Film.

Jay gained 9 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: #2 DT

Upstate gained just 7 points to current as he seems stuck at a school with horrible DT coaching. No DT on the team made any gains at all. It will be interesting to see how it goes as the coach is actually 'excellent' with the d-line (no word on if he is new or what). The other DTs on the Clemson team are:
  1. Sr W.On- 19/71
  2. R.S. Jr- 32/32
  3. R.S. So- 16/85
  4. R.S. Fr- 23/73

James is redshirting this season. He gained 3 pounds in the summer.

Halford is very well developed already. In fact, it's a miracle he was given a R.S. this year while the other Fr was not. Why? Well, James has the highest ratings of any safety on the Gator squad. Look for 4 good years from Cool C. The other Ss on the Florida team are:
  1. Sr W.On- 0/37
  2. Jr W.On- 16/41
  3. R.S. So- 53/56
  4. Fr- 46/92
James is getting 20% Weight and 25% Film.

T. E. gained 21 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: Starting QB

Almighty has good news and bad. The good news is he looks to be the starter. The bad news is he isn't prepared. An academic suspension to the incumbent will seemingly give T. E. the starting nod and leave 3 FOFCers starting for the Vol offense. Of course, the starter will return, maybe, next year and perhaps Almighty will get a redshirt then...or carry a clipboard.

Martin is redshirting this season. He gained 12 pounds in the summer.

Blank very much needs this year to work on his game. There will be two QBs rated better than him next year if he doesn't get his shit together and make dramatic gains in his ratings. The other QBs on the Michigan team are:
  1. Sr- 44/81
  2. R.S. Sr- 45/71
  3. R.S. Jr- 30/63
  4. Fr- 46/92

Marc gained 14 pounds in the summer.

PROJECTION: #3 QB

Adams is another player missing out on a redshirt season because some dick got himself suspended and the Panthers have no depth at QB. In the meantime, Marc better work hard or he will be waiting for his chance to play for a while. Maybe if the suspended turd comes back next season, Adams will get his R.S. year. The other QBs on the Pittsburgh team are:
  1. R.S. Sr- 35/56
  2. Jr- 18/76 (suspended)
  3. R.S. So- 49/100
Marc is getting 8% Weight and 29% Film.

Man, I hope UT (Texas) comes a callin. I dont mind playing in the SEC as long as its not Vandy or some weak ass school like that. Georgia or Tennessee will work if I cant get to Texas.

Go Horns,Dawgs or Vols.

A. J. is redshirting this season. He gained 17 pounds in the summer.

Tucker gets the R.S. nod over another freshman so one hopes that will stand him in good stead for his career. For a top 10 team, Cal is very weak at OLB as A. J. would be a starter right now if not for the redshirt. Next year is another matter, though, and Tucker better use this time wisely or fall back on the depthchart. The other OLBs on the Cal team are:
  1. Sr- 81/81
  2. So W.ON- 10/28
  3. So W.On- 3/3
  4. Fr- 32/78
A. J. is getting 24% Weight and 22% Film.

Redshirting ?!?!?!

Well, I guess it gives me more time to focus on the raging keggers and scantily clad cheerleaders! (But, with that 100 Intell ... looks like I will be hitting the books and hopefully improving that 20/62 ... ick)

This is going to be a long, tough year for Greenie ...
