Question ManagerZone Soccer

Has anyone played this? It is similar to Hattrick except they have about 100,000 users. It just seems to be overwhelming to me at the moment. I signed up yesterday and my team won it's series and is headed for IV

Also, on a VERY interesting note, they will be starting an online American football game later this year! The death of FOF?

Dang you guys. I like this game. A lot. The depth is amazing. I like how you get to pick a sponsor, I chose ESPN, and you get to choose your own jerseys. The only thing i don't like is that it starts off with a name, and costs me to change it. Oh well, I like it how it is.

illini, have you figured out how to view the USA info, such as how many leagues, divisions, etc there are?

I chose Nike.

Also, what's your team info?

Mine:

Name: NE Oklahoma Sidekicks (84186)
Owner: Will Brown (176692)
Rank: (92016)
Form:
Series: Div5.147
League: United states

Jeez, someone needs to post in this thread. There is information on "friendly leagues" I'll just copy and paste it:

This is the place where you and your buddies can play your very own league in parallel with the official league in ManagerZone. The matches in these leagues do not affect the form nor do they generate any larger amounts of money for your team. Since your form is not affected negatively by playing in friendly leagues you can participate in as many as you want at the same time. This is where you show you are the best among your friends.

You decide how many managers to invite. No less than 4 and up to as many as 16 teams. You can also decide what days to play and when.

Good luck in your friendly league.

SO if we can get enough interest in this game, like we do with hattrick.......IT would be so cool! I wish hattrick had this feature. And some of the game sponsored cups...WOW. THe winner gets a PS2. Training is fun too. I think it's cool how they show a pic of your stadium.

You have to pay to get in the cups though. At least the World Premier.

Caught me at a good time. Viewing the team info.

Name: Eagleton Village AFC (84208)
Owner: Daniel Ertmann (177207)
Rank: ()
Form:
Series: Div5.149
League: United states

I think I can live with the name they gave me. Sounds more soccery to me. I haven't figured out how to view other leagues, etc. Been to busy checking about the stadium, setting line-ups, etc. I did a proposal and it said it would be done on 4-21. Wow. I already have a friendly lined up this week. Get a team, and a friednly right away. maybe we can play each other next week, or however they do the match thing.

NIKE seems to be a popular choice for sponsors. Pretty much every other team in my division has NIKE as their sponsor.

Are you going to expand your stadium? If so, by how much? You gonna add any of the other things like hotel, etc. Soon I will be dabbling into the transer area, see what is going on.

We ALMOST got in the same series.

I haven't figured out what exactly to do as the FAQ is only in Swedish.

Also, I just saw, every friendly league costs $1 per team.

I like hattrick better, but it could change really fast. Your faq is in swedish. Mine is in English.

It was the FAQ. I jsut clicked on it, and it was in English. Now my match reports are in Swedish, hope that gets fixed. Now with friendlies, I just accepted yours, and another guy form my diviision. You apparently can schedle at least up to two friendlies a week. Here is what my freindly page looks like.:

NE Oklahoma Sidekicks 2/25/2003 6:00pm Away
Dannemora FC 2/25/2003 10:00am Away

Oh yeah, and damn you. You get lucky. Draw a first place team. I drew the worst team in the division. And I think that they give you the same players as the previous owner. I don't know hwy, but I get the feeling you do.

Sunday League is not so good. At least without being for pay. You have to use credit to train players or buy new ones. You get credit by paying. No credit, no training or new players. Once the players you start with gets old? You're toast.

Here's a link I found everyone. Goto the FAQ part, and if there is something that you want to know, then email him, he should have it up on the FAQ part in a day or so. Already got a couple of mine
