USB 3.0 Help
I have a pretty damn awesome gaing laptop - Intel i7, 12 GB ram, Dual Nvidia 650M cards, 240 SSD, 1 TB external HD, etc....However, my laptop slipped off my lap and smashed my two 3.0 USB ports that had things in them into the motherboard, and I can't fix them. I have a warranty until next April, but I swapped-out my slow Terabyte HD for a super fast SSD Samsung HD, and I think I voided my warranty, so I'm screwed there.
First, is there anyway to fix the ports myself, or if not, does anyone have any good suggestions as far as adding 3.0s via my ExpressCard opening? I was checking Newegg, but I don't trust a lot of those reviewers. Anyway, I could use some ideas. Thanks FOFC!!
