(Poll) Ratings Scale

It seems pretty all over the place for what people want the ratings to be. I don't want to take forever to get a league file set up and out to people, so this seems to be the most efficient way of making a decision here.

Choices:

- You prefer Stats only, but if ratings have to be used, you want them on a scale from 1-10
- You prefer Stats only, but if ratings have to be used, you want them on a scale from 1-100
- You prefer Ratings on a scale from 1-10
- You prefer Ratings on a scale from 1-100

So basically option 1+2 = Stats Only votes. 3+4 = Using Ratings

Prefer the 1-100 showing anything over max as well.

1-100 is unrealistic to me
Real life Scouts can not detect minut changes in a players skill level. 1-10 give a coach a good idea who is good and who isn't while still leaving enough grey area.
A 7 contct could be 65 to 74 on the other rating scale. 74 is ML material, 65 is not...so you still have to use the stats to make an accurate call.

No ratings in a league like this is tough...you can't tinker so if a player plays above his ratings in ST, you may pencil him in all year and not be able to uindo the move when his true colors shine through.

Bump.. This poll is extremely close right now with a slight nod to moving to 1-10 ratings. I'm planning on having this in either later today or tommorrow.. so speak now or forever hold your peace!

So I'm guessing we're going with a 1-10 scale?

I was hoping to have more votes on this today. Right now it is 6 - 5 with 5 no votes.. which means it is not really a clear majority.

It seems like there are several people who passionately want a 1-10 scale, so perhaps it makes sense to do it.. but with it being this close, I actually was going to PM the board... so I guess you can expect a PM coming

If strong preferences matter, I do as well with 1-100.

I've pretty much not commented on this one too much because I think this is one of those questions "What do people prefer?"

When I play solo (which I haven't really done for several years really), I always enjoyed stats only or very minimal ratings because it provided more of a challenge.

I think providing more of a challenge in an online league is also good, but I worry about balancing providing a challenge in this league with causing too much time involvement in a very fast paced league. The less information that is handed you, the more you have to research or investigate on your own. In a league that turns itself over each week, I wonder if it is not best just to keep things simple 1-100 and just let the challenge be competing with other owners.

In the end though, I am pretty neutral on this and think it should go with what makes the most happy.
