1902 FOOL-H Offseason thread

We'll need to change the schedule, probably. Because having FA2 and ST isn't practical, since teams will sign players. So we'll just need to make it a 7-day cycle regardless of the dates until we can get on a regular schedule.

So it'll go like this for this week.

Quote:

Thursday: FA1 begins
Friday: Sim to December 1st. FA2 begins.
Saturday: Spring Training
Sunday: Regular Season
Monday: Playoffs
Tuesday: Off-day
Wednesday: Amateur Draft/Sim to start of FA1

It's inelegant, but...it's probably the most logical way to do it.

Wrong date exports: Baltimore, Chicago Whales, Detroit, Washington

Error: Louisville, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies.

The rest were received. I realized we couldn't run FA if the game wasn't set to start of FA. So that gives you all more than 24-hours to sign players, as the next export deadline won't be until 11pm tomorrow night. I realize it's a bit bumpy scheduling wise to start, but it'll eventually stabilize...or something, with three leagues going, it'll be weird wrapping your heads around it for a while (I know it is for me...)

Umm...the file that's up is the one that I posted was up at 8:48 my time.

OK. I've noticed that if I attempt to download the same file in other leagues, I get a message that there is no new file to download. In this league, I don't get that message and it will re-download the same old file and wipe out any changes that I made. Convenient, if you make a mistake.

The new file is not advanced to the start of spring training, so unable to bring up players for it. I'll drop you a PM too just in case you miss this post here.

I've updated the file on the server just now. My bad. It's now simmed to the start of ST, so you can bring up players and such alike.
