WW Revolution (Day Three deadline: Wednesday 9:00 PM EST)
Early July, 1776.
Your tiny nation has been ruled by and iron-fisted European power for far too long. You can no longer put up with the 1% tax and having to tak a day off from your daily life each year to celebrate the rule of the King. How much longer can you tolerate receiving 105% of the value of the good which you sell to your motherland? You have decided to form a government of your own and declare yourselves free from tyranny!!! What you don't know is that a devious group lies among you. A group that is heck bent on keeping you from declaring your freedom. A group who has travelled through time to prevent what will be known world wide as July 3rd, Slightly More Independence Day. Well, it will be known world wide for about a day until another young country steals your thunder. Will history repeat itself, or will these time travellers win out? Won't be online much tomorrow. Work should be busy all day and going to the Flyers game in the evening. Won't be able to recruit much.
Will see where we stand with the number of players tomorrow night when I get home and decide from there. |

The delegates begin to gather in the back room of a local tavern. Not all have yet arrived but the discussions have begun and they all have the same theme. We must break away from our "mother land". They barely tax us and give us too much freedom. How can we expect to improve without direction. We need structure, laws, taxes and a government that is willing to strip us of our so called civil liberties. What will we do next? Last edited by EagleFan : 05-08-2010 at 12:07 PM. |

Sorry, had to make it purple as it is an atmosphere post and not gameplay.
FTR: red is game play (results, responses to inquiries, clarifications, etc...) and purple is atmosphere |

Game on whenever you want to start posting, though the roles are only going to begin trickling out to the players and I will accept more players up until I have posted that all roles are sent out.

Well I was out all day with the kids, and then caught Iron Man 2 tonight. So, glad I didn't miss anything. Tomorrow's mother's day so I'll be busy, but should have some time to check in and start posting a bit.

I saw IM2. I hate superhero and action movies for the most part but had fun at it. DOwney is entertaining no matter what it is and I have always liked Favreau's directing and acting work.

Roles have been sent out (sorry dinner went late and then spent time with the family).
For the record, to prevent meta-gaming, the vanilla PM simply said the following: You are a vanilla villager. |

9 players, 2 wolves. Likely only a seer and a bg and maybe duke. Probably no brutal or cunning.

Checking in. I generally agree with Danny's projected breakdown, although we should be prepared to adjust as more information comes out.

News has come in from across the pond. Your motherland has again lowered taxes on coffee. How can you stand for this? You will never have the needed social services if taxes continue to drop.

Oh I had missed the time travel angle. I thought we were just dealing with counterrevolutionaries.
Hopefully we don't have to deal with the Fool, only having 9 players. But I agree, would have to be two wolves I would think, with no convert. I'm going to go peruse the player list and think about a vote. |

Crimson Fox enters the pub back room and takes off his soft felt tricorner hat and long fringed frock coat and hangs them up. His long red hair is smartly brushed back in a ponytail tied with a crimson bow. He wears a long waistcoat of royal blue with cornflower cuffs, mauve satin lining, and gold buttons. His vest is brocade silk of crimson with a watch chain casually dangling out of one pocket. His breeches are also of royal blue and complimented with tights. No, sir, there is nothing at all girlie about the life of a revolutionary.
