GoPro Official Store: Wearable Digital Cameras for Sports
So... A week or so ago I ran this endurance challenge, which was pretty unique. It brought you through mountains of mud, crawling through tunnels, up and over walls, face first crawling through mud, and into the water. Afterwards, my friends mentioned how cool it would have been to capture on POV video. I started giving some thought to this and realized it would be pretty cool to have a mountable video source, as I like to do these endurance challenges, as well as snowboard and ride my motorcycle. So, I did a little googling and came across the GoPro series of cameras. They seem to be pretty legit. 1080p HD video, various mounting options, protective housing, cheap and easily replaceable parts, and good sound. I'm not a very savvy in the world of researching these sorts of things. I've done the typical google searches and have come across some pretty generic reviews and such. My question is, are there legitimate "go to" type sources/websites and such anyone can lead me towards that are generally trusted and recommended throughout the video/technology type community?
