Monday, November 16th, 2139: Great glovemen can range far and wide to make a backhand stop or an over-the-shoulder catch -- and the best usually make it look easy. Today the winners of the Continental League Best Fielder Awards for 2139 were announced. These awards for defensive excellence go to:

2139 CL Best Rookie Named
Tuesday, November 17th, 2139: The Continental League has presented its Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award for 2139 and the honor went to Adam Byrd, the fine Napa Valley left fielder.

The 24-year-old Winemakers newcomer took the trophy by hitting .259 in 157 games and finished with 157 hits, 20 home runs, 50 RBIs and 95 runs scored.

Cappelletti This Year's Best Rookie
Tuesday, November 17th, 2139: In his apprentice season in the Republic League, Napoleon Cappelletti put up some quality statistics to sew up the prestigious Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.

This talented Toronto right fielder posted a .314 average while accumulating 159 hits, 31 home runs, 87 RBIs and 81 runs scored in 136 games. He drew 43 walks as he fashioned a solid .374 on-base percentage.

Sonora Triumphs in Gabriel Prado Award Voting
Thursday, November 19th, 2139: The Tokyo Cyclones have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's José Sonora, this year's Continental League Gabriel Prado Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.

Sonora compiled a 21-6 record in 33 starts, tallied 165 strikeouts in 228.2 innings and recorded a 3.11 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .238 batting average against him.

Top Pitcher Award Announced by RL
Thursday, November 19th, 2139: The Gabriel Prado Award for 2139 has been presented and the Republic League winner is Harold Smith of Los Angeles.

"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Smith. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Bruins star told reporters.

Smith excelled with an impressive 16-7 record in 33 starts. In 218.2 innings he yielded 193 hits and 79 walks, while striking out 158 and compiling a fine 3.29 ERA.

Friday, November 20th, 2139: Daryl Cornock has been around Front Office Offseason League enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2139 season, he's taking home the Hideaki Tanaka Award in the Continental League.

The Baltimore center fielder put up a batting average of .312 with 31 doubles, 6 triples, 31

2139 RL Best Batter, Hammersmith's Bonce
Friday, November 20th, 2139: What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2139 Hideaki Tanaka Award in the Republic League. It had already been a very special season for Hammersmith's Armando Bonce, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake.

All season long Armando Bonce gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .316 as he collected 206 hits, 42 doubles, 2 triples, 42 home runs and 130 RBIs.

Sim is complete and file is up. I am happy to announce that the webpages have been fixed and are up as well.

I was trying to setup the export tracker that comes with the site but can't seem to get it. I will try to get the Statslab up this week. I was hoping to get it done last week but the wife ended up taking a paid vacation Tuesday and Wednesday last week and ended up home most of the week. Needless to say I was doing other odd jobs around the house. She is back to work today and the kids are in school so my life is free again.
