so I see some people want to vote to lynch me, while I would prefer not to, if this is the path can we at least not have a run away so we don't have 2 days of run away votes.

Apparently I'm on some people's mistrust lists so feel free to vote for me as a 2nd candidate, peeps. Although in all honesty it'll be a wasted lynch since all you'll learn is that I'm a normal villager. But yea we learn nothing from pile-on/runaway votes so have at it!!

Up to Pass, but I say if he can get all the night actions from people we run the deadline ASAP and move on to tomorrow, can save us a day of doing nothing.

I said probably -- I hadn't been counting, actually. And yeah, we need all the votes -- isn't that pretty typical of nightfall votes, that you need them all, in case someone has actions (and voting nightfall means that they've done their actions)?

Well like I said, I won't be able to run the match results until morning. But that's probably not that big of a deal. Unless anyone has a problem with it, yeah, Day 6 will end tomorrow at 2, so you might as well start discussing it now.

I don't know about Lathum to be honest. I have read him as villager this game, though I'm not at my best at reading people (read: Jackal flim-flamming me). Here's the thing that bothers me about Lathum as wolf and lerriuqs mentioned it in his first trust list, "But something smells of a set up here like the wolves want us to lynch him since he's as scary a villager as he is a wolf.". Since the beginning of D2, I've felt like he's been set up as the fall guy. From day 1 talking about how if he was a wolf he'd vote CR off immediately and sure enough the wolves do that. Knowing that I'm good and Darth looks good by the D3 voting, I get the feeling Jackal put the three of us out there to make us look suspicious when he turned up wolf.

That said, other than that feeling of him being set up, I don't have anything in particular I can point to as a reason to trust him which is why I had him listed as neutral.

Did an advanced search on Lathum and the word "vote" and didn't find him placing any votes within the past day. Perhaps he just forgot? Pass, will this affect nightfall?

I wouldn't really consider that a saga, more a dilemma that met a less than optimal conclusion.

Not much dispute this time. The Jackal must die! You hang him without much ceremony, of course he is a wolf, and as he hangs, a note falls from the sky:

Player Report on The Jackal by Passacaglia

As the 2nd best Winger on the squad, The Jackal should be starting here.

The Jackal’s skills:

GK: 15
CB: 19
FB: 50
CM: 17
W: 94
S: 83
Average: 46

KWhit releases his lineup for today’s match. He plays a 7-on-7 lineup, with subs.
Quote:
1 Goalkeeper - LoneStarGirl
2 Center Backs - Lorena,
2 Full Backs - Schmidty, Lathum
2 Central Midfielders -
2 Wingers - GoldenEagle,
2 Strikers - Darth Vilus, PurdueBrad

Bench:
lerriuqs

As you get ready to report for the match, you notice that Darth Vilus is missing. In his place on the field is another note.

Player Report on Darth Vilus by Passacaglia

Darth Vilus is only tied for the 2nd best Striker on the squad, but he should start there in my optimal lineup.

Darth Vilus's Skills:

GK: 75
CB: 5
FB: 54
CM: 14
W: 13
S: 94
Average: 43

This match is a disaster. With Darth Vilus missing, it's up to Schmidty alone to carry the team. He gets Man of the Match, but can't do it all himself. The squad's inability to find a Striker to complement Darth Vilus is glaringly obvios here, as PurdueBrad sucks it up as the only Striker. The squad loses, 1-0, missing several chances for goals.

The skill levels, in descending order:

1. Schmidty, Full Back, 94
2. LoneStarGirl, Goalkeeper, 90
3. GoldenEagle, Winger, 76
4. Lorena, Full Back, 67
5. Lathum, Full Back, 23
6. PurdueBrad, Striker, 19

Bench:

1. Telle, 45
2. JAG, 40
3. lerriuqs, 32

Total: 486
Result: Loss
Points: 4

Note that the squad did not select a Central Midfielder this time. I let it slide since you guys lost anyway, but I asked for 1-2 players at each position.

Its about time GE starts playing like he knows how! And its interesting that I get a 90 skill level each game.

I lot of people said they wanted a Darth vs Lathum run off, and since Darth turned up good does that mean we need to go after Lathum now?

I had PM privileges with Lathum and I didn't catch anything 'wolfy' about him (Although I guess that is odd since I normally suspect him).

VOTE LONESTARGIRL

This is mostly feeling backed up by some poor votes (CR on D2, lerriuqs on D3, Schmidty on D4) and questionable reasoning (to me). I'll admit she hasn't been around during the day so it's hard for her to change off her votes as more information appears, but there's a lot of missing votes and single votes on players out there.

Day 3 - Schmidty voted for a wolf but when it was still slightly up in the air.. so could have been trying to hide behind "a wolf wouldn't vote for a wolf". Also two other wolves were already on the second-place candidate. Lathum voted for a now known villager rather than voting for the now known wolf or joining the two now known wolves in voting for the second-place candidate.

I can't really argue that, it's a reasonable interpretation. I'm not sure how much one can ding them for D1 / D4 though, when there's no certainty there were other options available. D2 maybe, though again a known wolf was on No Lynch so I don't know how much you can extract from that vote. D3 for Lathum he was on Darth at a time when he was a candidate but left before the vote switched to J23 / lerriuqs. I'm not trying to be a Lathum apologist here FYI, but it's hard to ding him for that when there have been a number of people not around closer to some deadlines. For Schmidty, you could be right, of all the people that voted J23 that day, he is the one I trust least. However, I still feel better about my vote for LSG at this point.

The only thing that makes me hesitant about LSG is that it would mean all three wolves were on the same candidate on Day 3.. which isn't the most likely thing in the world.

Though it still could have happened. LSG puts in her vote early before heading out for the day. The Jackal moves his vote there from Darth when J23 starts taking heat and it's obvious they don't have the votes to take down Darth. Then J23 is forced to vote the same in a self-defense move. Hmmmm... so, yeah.. could have happened.
