You shouldn't. PB played a nice game and really it was a toss up there at the end. Villager did not shoot themselves in the foot this game, they just ended up not winning because of a nice game played by PB and lack of anything real solid to go on in finding the last wolf.

Last two times I was a wolf I get killed day 1 and the wolves win (one time I was the unknown wolf though). I think that is the secret. Next time I am a wolf I will reveal day 1 and make sure I am lynched.

Great game all around. The Village did so well early pegging wolves and then Purdue did a great job of just keeping out of the spotlight. I don't know what the village could have done differently, there was just nothing damning there.

I read PB completely wrong in this game. I actually kind of egged up on a little bit in my PMs just trying to push a few buttons. I expected if he was a wolf, he would have behaved differently.

Instead what I got back felt more like apathy to me than anything else. I had to pry some names/thoughts out of him just for discussion. When he tossed out one of the names I had also previously thought about (J23), I just decided to go with that for my vote. I don't think I had a good enough feel about Telle that day. When J23 turned up good, I honestly didn't think PB was a wolf at all, since I don't see a wolf feeding me a name of someone on their team knowing full well how I get sometimes.

So was that strategy? Apathetic indifference to lure me in, throw a fellow wolf under the bus and then ride it to a win? If so, why kill me when you did?

Or was it just how things worked out?

I was very, very wary of talking to you because you play even more by gut than I do so I was nervous about anything I said setting off your detector. I guess as opposed to apathy, it was more a fearful respect of not revealing too much. My other big concern was that I stayed in a constant state of fear this game of replying to the wrong person with the wrong info (i.e.- sending Alan T something I meant to send the wolves) so I kept you at arms length. I opened up some with Lathum in PM because I figured that keeping him at distance like I did you would actually set off his wolf-dar.

When you asked what two people I would consider voting for, I decided to go one true, one false and I was mildly concerned that things were heating up some on Jackal so I figured two more names would muddy the water. As for killing you when we did, I believe it was because we were concerned that you were still going to turn up the heat on Jackal even after nailing J23.

As for my missed vote, which I know Alan didn't bring up, it was a RL issue that, from what I've heard, got a couple of our tech people fired. It isn't like me to miss and I am sorry to both sides about that.

Nah, I actually was not going to push The Jackal any further at that point. I don't know that I necessarily believed him, but I've always felt early in the game lynching someone claiming to be the seer is a bad move. Either they are telling the truth and you just lynched your seer, or they are lying but keeping them around won't hurt you as it will eventually come out they are lying.

In hindsight it would've been best to come clean at the start of D4 so the runoff could have been you vs. Jackal instead of you vs. GE. That at least would've given us a chance to lynch Jackal instead of you and we would've known Lorena was cleared (though she would've been killed in place of DT had we lynched you that day). Considering we had a decent lead on the wolves at that point, that probably would've been a more conservative play.

look at how you played it, had you just come out and claimed seer things would have been somewhat different.

IMO what you should have done is not said anything, Jackal was busted either way. Why not just keep your mouth shut and continue to scan people. If you are night killed Jackal is dead the next day anyway. Instead you go apeshit and start making cryptic statements.

You should have just come out with it publicly. The fact that you PMed it to someone means nothing since we have no idea if that person was a wolf or not.

The bottom line is you countered JAckals reveal, but gave us nothing with the counter. You gave no logical argument about who you scanned, why you scanned them, or why we shouldn't believe Jackal. In these instances the first person to come out is believed 90% of the time.
