I figured Martin's suspicions were just a read off of something you said, no indication of any actual firsthand knowledge. But he didn't expand on it.

I don't think Martin knows anything about Lathum now. That wouldn't mean he didn't have a good reason for wanting Lathum dead.

To elaborate since if I could figure it out I'm sure the wolves can to:
I'm suggesting Martin is Nostradamus.

Dola.

I know I bring real life in a lot, but I was at the laundry mat until a few minutes ago. Our washer is broken. I forgot how shitty and boring the laundry mat is. It was so crappy, that I couldn't even stay there for my clothes to finish. I'll be picking them up in a few minutes.

Interesting to me that Lathum got no traction, though probably everyone thought like me "I'd hate to have him as a wolf, but he'd be good to have as a villager." There was enough action on this race to give us some data, I hope.

Well if Lathum is on Martin's list and Martin gets Lathum lynched Martin gets a scan. Whoever Nostradamus is, it behooves them to try and lynch the people on the list, otherwise the power is useless. So on D1, with nothing else to go on, it would make complete sense for Martin to pick one of the five.

because he is trying to kill an innocent and likely only gain a scan to find out about another innocent player.

So you are killing one to clear one, seems like a wash.

Thoughts...

Interesting that DT proclaimed himself unafraid to make a choice, and then proceeds to not do so.

And someone should have let Danny know that the soap thing ended at 11 a.m. his time.

We have no reason to believe that either the people on the list or the scans will be innocents.

FWIW I would have prolly voted dubb - martin played a really good seer the other game and he's still pretty new, so i wouldn't have ended up tying it up or anything.

*shrugs*

Dubb..

DUBB?!

BAH!

He'll be back, lot of fun you bunch are.

Just because you've failed to amuse me, a little bit of news! The inferno device was in dubb, and it's been moved to another one of you randomly! Enjoy!

Hmmm. That seems plausible in retrospect.

Does this imply he is the Phoenix. If so, we now have a COT establish on Day One

Did the Jester just suggest dubb was the Pheonix?

Also, I forget, does the player with the inferno know he has the inferno? It would be interesting from that perspective, I suppose, to go over dubb's posts.

He did get lynched. We're surmising he will be back though (as the Phoenix), given what The Jester had in his lynch post.

Just an FYI, as I know we'll run into this. If you run into someone else in the maze, you do not get PM rights, and I will not allow group movements. If you happen to move in the same direction so be it - or if you want to attempt to coordinate it in the thread, feel free.

I didn't see anything in the rules saying whether the person would lknow if they had the inferno device or not.

On the other hand it just struck my attention scanning the rules that several of the miscellaneous roles can scan other plays both day and night (the inferno hunter, the ancient of fire). Just to keep in mind that some players will be gaining information during the day cycle.
