It's Halloween in the town of Mysteria. All of the kids in the town are excited and getting ready to trick or treat with their friends, and parties are starting to begin all around.

The coolest party in town also happens to take place in the House of Vincent Price. His house is the biggest, oldest and rumored to be the most haunted in town. It doesn't matter though because everyone knows that Vincent throws the greatest Halloween parties around. Teens and college kids all over town dream and hope all year that they'll receive the coveted invitation in the mail. This invitation allows the recipient to invite 11 friends to join in the festivities. One stipulation - everyone must come in full costume and must come alone.

Freddie Jones happens to be the lucky one this year. Rounding up his gang, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby first, Freddie then calls all of his other pals and invites them to the party. Shaggy and Scooby are very reluctant to come. End the end, Velma is able to convince them with a handful of Scooby Snack and the promise of more.

Everyone arrives separately to the huge mansion. Mr. Vincent Price greets each of them warmly, almost a little too warmly. When they step inside, they notice that there are 18 people total. What's going on?

A muffled "Zoinks!" and "Jinkies!" can be heard in the large room.

Mr. Price senses everyone's surprise, and smiles. "What would a Halloween party be without some unexpected situations?".

"Come, let us start the festivities!!!".

This would indicate 12 people who were supposed to be at the party are at the party. I am not sure if this some really just some random number Schmidty picked or is indicative of the number of wolves. 6 wolves would seem too many, so I am thinking it was a number listed. Realistically, 4 with a max of 5 wolves would seem possible.
